I used JC Flooring Construction LLC for some renovation work on a single-family home. I had an…read moreissue with him leaving incomplete work and never finishing it like a professional. I had him do some plumbing work and we literally had the pull all the work out that he did and redo it. He had waste pips going up against gravity to where the toilet would not have been able to flush correctly. He also had a 3-inch pipe flow into a 2-inch pipe that would never pass the inspection. He always wanted me to get the material like I was a professional and knew what to get. He never even gave me a list. The electrician had to come back 3 times to fix the work that he did and it is still incomplete. I had to actually get another electrician to come out and get past the inspection. They were also supposed to stain the floors, but they did not complete that work either. He kept saying that's small we will get that the work he left was easy and they would take care off it. His strategy was to try and scare me from getting it inspected, but I did it anyway. He knew his work would not pass inspection. Make sure that you pay the $50 to $100 for a county permit so an inspector can make sure they do the work right. It will save you money and headache in the long run. The county inspector is cheap compared to the money they will cost you. To sum it up, his electrician did not do the work right, his plumber did not do the work right, he did not complete any of the work invoiced. Lastly, when he saw they were not going to complete the work he tried to always say we did not charge you for that and tried to up the cost. Juan will try and nickel and dime you.

Grout and thin set all over the white base board moldings, to lazy to move the pipes to install vanity correctly and left the back of the old vanity attached to the wall. Put tile along side of vanity to cover up exposed wood ; grout on floor. NEVER FINSHED hooking up my vanity ; running water. Master bathroom grout all over the place on the moldings and floor, broke two ceramic coner shelves; title kept falling of walls had to redo the master shower three times. There was a square hole cut in our master bathroom linen closet ; understand had to get to the pipes. But the mess was never cleaned up and the wife had balls to say that we the home owner would be charged for that. It's not up to the home owner to pay for his mess or hole he made. Now our shelves in there are broken. We also wanted a doggie door installed into the wall in our living area ; mr. Rick bought a doggie dog that you install into the door instead of buying one you install into the wall. If he didn't know they made such a thing he should have asked or research it. We wanted two walls taken down; which he did the mudd was put on thick and not even. Last but not least we wanted a 2 ft pony wall put inbetween the living area and the dining room for separation. The came out to be 18 inches put over the carpet, and the molding on the one side is bent and not even straight. OUR TOOLS WERE USED WITHOUT PERMISSION such as our sanding sponges, putty scrapers, HOUSEHOLD VACCUME to clean Sheetrock dust, we had bought a little tub of spackle GONE. OUR SNACKS in the ref. we're eaten WITHOUT PERMISSION. Missing receipts. I can keep going on and on. When we told his wife that we were very dissatisfied all she was kept alopogizing , it seemed like she didn't care and didn't go out of her way to correct the problem. These people seemed like they had no pride in there work they were doing. NEVER AGAIN will I recommend them.

Buyers Beware In April of 2021, my mother met Mr. Rett…read moreWalker (owner) at her residence to measure for flooring installation services from his business. The day that she set for installment, she went out of town until the install was completed. His technician, John, installed the chosen tile (my mother wasn't present). Shortly after install, the tiles started to pop up. My mother contacted Mr. Walker for resolution. He sent John back out to address the issue. At this time, John mentioned there is an issue with the floor and possible reason for the tiles popping up. During John's first visit and installation of the tile, he never mentioned anything about a subfloor issue. John communicated to Mr. Walker that he did, but my mother was not present. First, this is a huge integrity issue. Second, John should have mentioned this prior to the install. After John repaired the first time, more tiles started to pop up. My mother chose this business to provide expert advice prior to the install. If this had been done, she could have made an informed decision of additional services required. She's now in a situation where there is a huge safety concern due to improper installation. My mother's kitchen was a safety hazard. She was afraid of falling. My mother is a 77-year-old senior citizen. My mother reached out to Mr. Walker on multiple occasions without reply. There is an expectation for customer service levels to be equal before and after the sale. During the communication between my mother and Mr. Walker, he advised her that John (technician) quit after working for him for 10 years. Also, he requested for her to get a quote from another business to be reimbursed. My mother got a quote and work was being scheduled. She called him on September 21st, but his wife Mrs. Molly Walker advised her that he was on the Airforce base working, but she will let him know. My mother spoke with Ms. Molly Walker about the refund in the amount of $1365.00 which is the amount that she paid for the tile only. My mother was advised by her contractor that they will not be able to reuse the tile; therefore, he can come and get the tile. My mother asked Mr. Walker to make her whole by accepting his responsibility. After about 6 months of trying get resolution, Mr. Walker agreed only to pay $385.44 to help pay for the subfloor. We spoke with Mr. Walker on September 30th, we made it clear to him that she's not asking him to reimburse her for the subfloor because John didn't damage the subfloor. As previously stated, my mother is looking for the reimbursement of the unusable tile due to your technician's (John) improper installation. The installation should have never taken place due to the condition of the subfloor. John did not mention this to anyone and installed the tile anyway. This left her with unusable tile. My mother didn't cause the problem, his technician caused the problem, but Mr. Walker doesn't think his company is responsible for his technician's improper installation. I would give zero star but it wouldn't let me.
