All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video. I hired him as the DJ at my husband's and my wedding on 1/3/14 after seeing him do a friend's wedding. He did a fantastic job. He played the music we wanted, steered clear of our "Do Not Play" list, and was super affordable. We had him for both the ceremony and the reception and the music for both was seamless and classy. He even played some hip Spanish music for my side of the family! Also, this may sound silly, but he never once told the dancing crowd to raise their hands in the air, sing along, or any of that nonsense that we've seen other MCs do. I was very happy with that. He also really made sure that he had all of our names right, including my Cuban grandmother whose name is a bit difficult to pronounce. He engaged with the crowd but not overly so, and he was very accommodating with my husband's music request, including playing my husband's own mixes, and playing an instrumental version of "Baby It's Cold Outside" for my husband and me to sing at the end of our reception. He even cut if off in a good way when my husband and I laughingly had to stop singing because we forgot the words to the second verse halfway through and started cracking up. He's very relaxed and more than happy to guide you through the process. He talks to you with the warmth of a friend, not like a cold business man. Bob recommended that we let him know any and all songs we would like to be sure to have. "The more we put on the list, the more likely we will love all the music". Well, my wife took that to heart and came up with an amazing song list. Our list was not only long, but had several different types of music from Big Band (Swing) to 50's & 60's rock as well as modern songs. Bob took the list and arranged it perfectly! All the rite song types/tempos at all the rite times. We had an amazing amount of positive comments from our guests about how great the music was. We also had the opportunity to extend our reception by 30 minutes, which happened only a few days before the wedding. Bob was more than happy to extend his time for us. Bob is also just a great guy. We were married on June 14th 2014, and yet in October 2015 we were sitting in Ferrara's bakery in NYC having some desert, and as we were sitting there Bob walked by and recognized us. I was busy looking at my wife, but Bob stopped to say hello. He's that kind of great guy. He's busy with weddings and events all the time, plays guitar in a band, and all kinds of other things I'm sure. But he still remembered us so long after our wedding.
