I've recently had them do some shoots for my company and everything from setting up the shoot to the final product was flawless. Totally flexible and accommodating with my crazy schedule. I flew to Chicago to shoot a few spots for a startup and needed to hire a video crew. Being from…read moreLA, I wasn't familiar with the companies out there so choosing any company was a total shot in the dark. I had a few days to hire a crew and I called around to several businesses and individual professionals...I found the town was busy, and the options were limited. Most people I talked to, was a mix between fielding a lot of strange questions and negotiating what I could expect with the limited budget I was working with...nothing that filled me with a lot of confidence. I'm generally skeptical of negotiating with someone I've never worked with and can't assess the experience/quality of what it is that I'm negotiating. Moreover, as someone who works in film and tv in Los Angeles, I wanted some certainty that the quality in Chicago would be the same as what I was familiar with my network back in LA. I was running out of time, when a good friend recommended Ben Mahoney's company. From the minute I talked to Ben, he immediately put me at ease. He listened to my specific production needs and worked with me on the budget to find a solution. He could not have been more accommodating at what I considered to be the 11th hour! He definitely understood the type of shoot we were doing and the logistics of the space and sent his crew supplied with what he though would work for the shoot. I couldn't have been happier with his crew. His guys came ready, experienced and worked perfectly in sync with each other. I had a great experience! Now if I could get them to come out to LA...

Our "trailer" came out around September, only 1 month after our wedding. So they work fast! I'll be honest by saying that finding a videographer that fits you is SO hard. I think TPP was the 3rd vendor we researched. My husband did most of the communicating with Frank leading up to our big day and had no issues whatsoever. The day of our wedding, the videographers were AMAZING and polite. We had them come early to my hotel to film part of that and the first look. The rest of the day, I didn't even notice them filming. They were professional and just blended into the background. We are extremely happy with the process, and the result. I would recommend them to all couples looking for a video vendor!

Turning Point has the best team that made my wedding video dream come true!!!…read more I work with lots of videography for work, so naturally, I have a very high standard when it comes to my own wedding video. I interviewed more than 10 videographers in Chicago to get a sense of whose team fit my needs better, and Turning Point Productions definitely stood out the most for its fair pricing and impeccable work. First of all, this team was always responsive when I had a question or concern. I never met Frank, the editor, or Katie, the studio manager, but they were always available via emails or phone. I talked to Frank many times on the phone before I booked, and he understood exactly what I wanted and what I didn't. He ensured me that there will be no "hand-held effect" in my video, and he was very flexible with my wedding timeline. The team of two videographers arrived on time and dressed appropriately on my wedding day. They were very polite and detail-oriented. They captured all the important moments I requested such as first look with my husband and when my dad put down my blusher before walking me down the aisle etc. For all the fun parts like opening the dance floor, of course they did an amazing job as well. They also filmed in some unexpected angles that ended up making the whole video very touching! Frank is an excellent editor, and I'm not saying this because he did such a wonderful job at editing my video. I was so confident in him and his skills even before booking. His portfolio was very self-explanatory. When I received my trailer just seven days after my wedding, I was so touched by he told the story and all the special moments captured. Even to this day, I don't think I've seen any of my friends who went with other videographers has better wedding videos. The studio manager, Katie, was another wonderful person whom I was so glad to be working with. I communicated with her via emails when I was overseas. She was very responsive, easy to work with and always addressed my questions and concerns 100-percent! All and all, I can't recommend Turning Point Productions enough. Do I think they're worth the money? Definitely!! Am I satisfied with the end product? Yes! Do I recommend this wonderful team to friends and family? Absolutely!!! Will I book them again for any special occasion? For sure! Thank you, Turning Point Production! My wedding wouldn't be as perfect without your help.
