Best and freshest produce in Carteret County with the friendliest people. Watermelons are always fresh and sweet

Call ahead! We drove 20 minutes to get fresh corn, melons and peppers. No corn, 3 melons, and 2 peppers. Such a disappointment!

The food at the deli was great, the service less so. Despite placing an order online to avoid…read morewaiting in line, when we arrived at 3:30 (when our food was supposed to be ready, as we'd placed our order around 45 minutes earlier), the food wasn't ready. Our food (four subs) was STILL not ready for another 30 minutes. There was a steady line of in person customers, of course, but they had three workers actively making subs, and all three of them appeared to be prioritizing the in-person line. Only sporadically did they work on our online order, even though they were already behind on our order & those in line had only just arrived. Three other customers who had placed online orders arrived while we were waiting and were still waiting when we left. We finally got our last sub just as they finished serving their last customer in line. Again, this was 30 minutes after we had arrived, 30 minutes after our food was supposed to be ready, and fully an hour and 15 minutes past when our order had been originally placed. This was quite frustrating. I appreciate that the workers appeared to be doing their best, and they did apologize for the wait, which I also appreciate. But I could have gotten my food within 15 minutes if I had just gotten in line with everyone else. I'm not sure what the point is of having online ordering available, if the food isn't going to be ready when promised and the online orders are going to be so deprioritized compared to the in-person orders. Either they need to change their "ready by" times or they need to change their workflow. I will say, the sandwich, which was a vegan turkey situation, was absolutely delicious. I just wish I hadn't had to stand for 30 minutes and watch them make food for other people when our order had already been pending for longer than anyone in line.

What surprised me the most was that it was a big cake, not just a cupcake. Picked up some peach ice tea which was great. The cashier man was nice but didn't take the time to help me figure out the app. I finally figured it out so I could pay for my items. New to this app thing. Didn't know I would not get a receipt. He said it would be emailed but I asked for it and he gave it to me.

The açaí bowls were very good and the amount of fresh fruit in there was nice. I also ordered the iced caramel macchiato, good coffee flavor, not too sweet!

It doesn't get any better than this. If you're looking for an amazing snack or breakfast, this is…read morethe spot for you. ***LOCATION*** This beachcore health food shop is located in a tiny strip mall in Emerald Isle. You can bike there and enter from the bike path (there is a bike rack) or you can drive and park your car in the lot in the back. ***EXPERIENCE*** We came here because my friend's Mom adores this spot. It's a local spot that uses the best and most delicious ingredients. You can guarantee quality here. There is a lot of seating available inside and some spots outside. This place gets packed, but it's totally worth the wait. You order and pay up front then wait for them to call your name. I'm very picky with my acai bowls, I find that some places make them more smoothie and watery. I love it when they're rich and thick. Sol Bowls makes sorbet style bases which is why I'm so in love with what they make. I highly recommend ordering the Sol Bowl (I added cocoa nibs and coconut) or the Shore Break (if you prefer coconut sorbet with pineapple and spirulina instead of acai). Don't be deceived by how small the small size looks. It definitely looks like a lid, but it is still extremely filling. My only note is it would be nice to have a bigger small bowl (with the same current portion size) just to make scooping easier. If you want to add anything, I highly recommend adding almond butter to your bowls, it's a nice savory addition to all the sweet things inside. My friends loved the drip coffee and latte they ordered. I wasn't too crazy about the matcha, but once I mixed it more it was pretty good. ***PRICE*** The small bowls start at $9 with an added $1 for any additional topping you want to add. ***CONCLUSION*** If you're looking to feel tropical and beachy, I highly recommend eating the rainbow at Sol Bowls. Their bowls are so refreshing and beyond perfect for beach life.

I grabbed some taffy to give as a gift. You get a card that identifies the taffy when you get back home. I had one and it was not on the card but that's okay. It was still good. 4 oz was $2.76. I wanted one piece of chocolate, I would call it a turtle, but staff said I had to buy at least 1/4 lb. which equals $9.95. Well, that's a bummer. I have never been to a candy shop that I could not buy one piece. They always say so much money for an ounce. Even though I did not agree, I did not lower the score even though I spent more money than I wanted to. Out of the 7 or 8 pieces, I liked the turtle, the orange cream and the raspberry jelly the best.

And to say that we didn't have respect or show respect to your employees, is crazy! Thank you have a good night. I went in last weekend .With me and 3 other friends. My friend ordered a simple sundae. And she asked for a slight modification, that had nothing to do with the sundae. Mind you, she told Neely two times that she wanted that modification. Neely proceeded to not do the modification. And when my friend asked told her a third time that she wanted that modified. Neely made a snarky comment to my friend. Then proceeded to laugh and make jokes about it to Jocelyn and Katie. Me and my friends are not mad we just would like to see, Mrs. Brenda, correct the behavior going on in her establishment. Thank you!
