This is an amazing manor castle designed in Neogothic architecture. The grounds are amazing. It is…read moreabout a 1 1/2 mile walk from the main road on a dirt path to get to the castle. It is also is a park with plenty of benches to watch the swans and geese in the moats. A wonderful spot for a tour and then picnic on the grounds. Recommendations are to take a picnic lunch, get there in the morning before the crowds and then enjoy the grounds. Make sure to take walking shoes because it will be trek getting to and back to the main road.
