Brilliant food! We…read moreopted for a takeaway from this restaurant on a Friday night when we couldn't be bothered cooking. We ordered a selection of starters, mains, rice and naan to share and I enjoyed all of it. The mixed starter was a lovely way to try a few different dishes but not be too full before the main courses. There are no pakoras on the menu which I did find a bit disappointing, but it did make us try something else for a change. We ordered a few different dishes (can't remember them all!) but we definitely had both the Butter Chicken and the Garlic Chicken and a Dahl, all were full of flavour and got demolished! The restaurant was clearly very busy, both with sit in diners and take away orders, yet our order was ready about half an hour after we phoned it through. Would highly recommend giving this place a try.

We definitely look forward to each time we go and have been going here for 10+ years. In winter the fireplace is going and keeps it nice and warm. With two dining areas and outside seating (with a heated area too), there is a bit of room for groups and recommend booking for any special event. The food is always good and prepared using fresh, local ingredients. Recommend the Pork Medallions and any fish dish available. The cook is humble but gifted. You can also reserve a room as well. We do so when we have friends or family in. This is the only place we go to for the all year round. We rate this pub very highly for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, the staff are always friendly and understand customer service very well. The food is always excellent and the bar is always well stocked.

The service is very customer led and this may be the first time I've had the option to say no to the usually complimentary finger food of poppadums. The drinks are cheap and rather well stocked for the size of restaurant. The starters where well presented and not greasy and the obligatory side salad was fresh and crisp. I at first mistook a subtlety of flavours to be more complex cooking but the main confirmed that there was very little in the way of heat or spices used in the dishes. I would suggest that if you are from a large city that you may want to ask for a higher level of heat. My main was very mild when usually medium. However, with less heat one is able to taste the nuances of the dish. All the dishes were presented well and the waiters ticked all the standard protocol boxes for dining out.

This fantastic little restaurant is in a really small old building that has tons of great feeling about it. All the ceilings are low with exposed beams which is quite a juxtaposition from the often comic 90s ballads being pumped out the sound system. They do a wide range of dishes, most of my family is veggie and they always seem to find something they fancy. If you are in the area and fancy a curry head in here, I doubt it will disappoint you.
