I buy cars more often than I probably should usually every 2-3 years like clockwork. I also come…read morefrom the industry, so I'll be the first to admit: I'm not the easiest customer. Pricing games, forced add-ons, and sales tactics don't work on me and I'm upfront about that from the start. I spoke with five other dealerships during this process, and honestly, most of them missed the mark. Too many games, not enough transparency. Originally, I reached out to Elizabeth Patten (listed as Internet Sales Manager), but she let me know she had moved to a different department and pointed me to Rami Hammad and I'm glad she did. Rami was exactly what you hope for in a car-buying experience: straightforward, responsive, and zero games. He's personable, sharp, and actually listens something that's become rare in this industry. It felt like dealing with how dealerships used to operate. If you're in the market for a vehicle, new or used, do yourself a favor and ask for Rami. He'll take care of you the right way. And to management whoever hired him made the right call. As long as he's there, you've got my business.

Took my 2021 Challenger 1320 in for some service. Dropped off on Monday, done on Thursday the same…read moreweek. The service writer, Aly, was very pleasant to deal with. Top-notch. Major issue on the day of pick-up. I have other than factory GPS with cameras/alarm when the service tech was done with all the work. I got a warning that the car had left the dealership. So I checked the Drone Mobil app to see where the car was headed. Caught the speed it was going at 93 mph and snapped a picture of the speed at 89 mph and slowing down. Can't prove that he was doing over 93 mph, but the car was already slowing. So use your imagination from there. Can't even begin to tell you how upset I was at the situation. So I called the dealer even before the tech was back from his test drive. I talked to someone, and they put the service manager on the line, and I explained to him what was going on. Of course, he was upset. So I got off work and went and had a face-to-face with him. He was very apologetic that one of his techs would do that in a customer's vehicle. Said he and the shop foreman were going to have a one-on-one talk with the employee. And then with the rest of the techs. Did they lose a customer for life. I'm not sure yet. But as I write this review I don't think I will ever go back to them. Sometimes one bad apple can ruin the whole bunch.

100% would not recommend this dealership. First off, I was looking at a car that had a sticker…read morevalue of $29,700. We went through our bank and had a pre-approval. I go in to the dealership to sign all the necessary paperwork and we discovered there is hidden prices that are not disclosed until you sit down with your salesman. After the fees that they were trying to add to the car, the price of the car would have been $36,000. NO WAY am I paying that much for a used vehicle. I'm sure I could have found one cheaper and probably new at that price. Once I told my salesman I was backing out of the deal, I was immediately shunned. I had asked my salesman to call my husband and go over the price with him and when my husband told the salesman that we did not agree with the price he hung the phone up on my husband. I got all of the necessary paperwork from our bank that I provided to the salesman. I had previously put down a down payment to hold the car until we got our approval from the bank, which was told to me that we would get a refund. When I asked for my refund the salesman completely avoided me for at least 45 minutes before I had to demand a receipt for my refund or I was not leaving the property. This dealership is crooked and will try to screw you in the end. I do not recommend anyone to do business with them.

The dealership called me back 2 days later to tell me they lowered the price. I accepted and asked them to put the car on hold. I was told "No problem, we're filling out the paperwork now." I called them back the following day to ask how the process was. I didn't get a call till the following day, where the dealer told me my loan was approved, but they sold the car. They didn't offer any military discount, they lie about their prices. Don't use this dealership.

For the following reasons: I am on their email mailing list and was recently sent some service coupons, one of which was for an oil change and tire rotation...for $74.95, up to 8 quarts...OK sounded like a good deal...scheduled my appointment for 8 AM today. It took about an hour...no problem. When it came time to pay my bill, I was told, it was $129.00...I knew there would be some tax but not $50+, I reminded them I had a coupon for a $75 oil change and tire rotation...and asked why the extra charge...they said they put 10 quarts of oil in, and the extra cost was due to the extra amount of oil needed. I told them that a C8 Corvette only requires 7.5 quarts of oil for an oil change. I asked to see the service manager...he looked on the computer and confirmed that it only takes 7.5 quarts of oil. I then took a closer look at the service invoice and there was no mention of the tire rotation documented on the invoice...only that they checked the air in the tires. I asked why there was no tire rotation noted on the invoice. I said I know a typical tire rotation can't be performed...all the way around...but a left to right and right to left of the tires on the front and rear can be rotated. I asked, "Were the tires rotated?", and they said yes...I then said, "I want it to say on the invoice that the tires were rotated." The invoice was only changed to reflect a revision of the oil change price...and I had to ask twice for them to indicate the tire rotation on the invoice. Lesson learned...I won't be using JK Chevrolet again...and if you do...I encourage you to check and double check the bill they present to you for service. (Yes I know there some that will say they've never had any problems with them...well good for you.)

The vehicle was advertised with an upgraded package that included a mobile charger--something I confirmed with the salesperson, Jacob, as it was essential for my trip. After signing paperwork, I was told the car was charged--but there was no mobile charger in the vehicle. I was told it would be shipped within 4 days. It wasn't. When I followed up, I learned it hadn't been shipped at all. I explained the inconvenience and asked for compensation for public charging fees, which totaled over $260. Eventually, they sent a charger--but it was the wrong one. Then they sent another to the wrong city. I was asked to drive an hour and a half back to pick it up myself. I submitted receipts as requested, but neither Jacob nor the General Sales Manager, Mike, followed up. I had to chase them down every time. The car also came with a free home install of the Ford Charge Station Pro. The dealership had no idea how to initiate this. I had to contact the install company myself--only to find they'd entered the wrong email, so I wasn't getting communication. Multiple calls later, I finally got it straightened out. Again, no help from the dealership. It has now been 111 days since I bought the car, and the experience has been full of broken promises and poor communication. If you buy from Philpott Ford, get everything in writing. But honestly, I'd recommend choosing a dealership that actually supports their customers after the sale.

We set up a date and time for me to come bring it in for him to look at it. The whole process took over a hour. I had to wait for him to come to me for longer than a while. At first he acted as if he wanted to discuss the transaction in the lobby for everyone to hear our conversation. I had to request to go to his office. He claimed they were taking time to put my information in their system but I heard them laughing and socializing in the background. Basically he was trying to low ball me and buy my car for less than it was worth. Even after the meeting we communicated by text and by that time I had already sold my car higher than he offered. He was coercing me and saying the vehicle market was about the crash, and he had a customer who wanted to buy it for her son. Basically forcing me to sell my car to them. Never will I do business with Phillpott Ford!
