Getting the opportunity to see the working of guide dogs is a really special experience. Not only do you get to see the way the trainers work, you get an insider view of how the kennels operate. This is a great charity that works really hard. I'm so glad I came. The visits take place on Wednesday afternoons and you have to book because they fill up quickly. Very with while. read more

Established in 1986.

The Guide Dogs Training School was opened on the 7th May 1986 by Princess Alexandra. Since then, we have trained over 200 dogs per year to become Guide Dogs and change a life for a person living with sight loss.
