Had a great stay here in January for 2 nights. The hostel just re-opened a couple of months ago after COVID. The area is great, a little touristy but the safest neighborhood we hung out in while in Santiago, and there's a super cute patio of restaurants next door where we ate at both nights in town. We were also able to walk to everything we went to from here. The front door is kept locked at all times, and there is someone at the front desk to let you in when you arrive or leave. The people at the front desk were super friendly and helpful, some spoke more english than others. Upon check in we received free towels (although I'll note a friend we made in the hostel said when she checked in there were no towels available). There was also a bbq on the roof on Friday evening where everyone was hanging out and playing music and beer pong. Very social hostel. Our private room was great, felt very safe and secure and had plenty of outlets and a clean bathroom (I will note again that the same friend noted in the shared hostel, her locker didn't work properly). read more
