He is just as Larry S commented; friendly, timely very hard working and actually gets back to you and wont schedule you until he knows he can get it done! We are very happy with our new patio cover as Mike got it done in one day and cleaned it all up. Other service people can learn from Mike's way of doing things. He actually went the extra mile and sent me the included picture when he was finished and communicated very, very well before and after the project and didn't set unrealistic expectations. Parks Construction had built our house less than 5 years before the fire. We were devastated. We called James, and he worked with us to rebuild. We were back in our new house in about 4 months from the day they put up the first piece of framing !!! We were very pleased with the workmanship yet again. James Parks was so professional in his presentation to us as far as what he provides as a builder. He was upfront with pricing and construction. Danielle, our front lady who we love, was amazing and took great care of us. But truly, the Oscar goes to Reid T., our foreman, who was so patient and guided us through some severe design flaws via the architect (another Yelp for another day (Blue Line Design..NO.) Nobody anticipated these flaws based on the fact that these are professional architects (or are they?) but Reid caught them every time. He reassured us that the awkward wall upstairs could be remedied He was empathetic and corrected several cabinet issues for us. He was never pushy but such bold, albeit, minor suggestions that made the world of difference in our house. He took minor design flaws and rocked them into full blown made for TV interior design show specials. We are blessed to be living in such a beautiful house and thankful to Reid who was so genuine and purposeful with all our questions and always had a solution. We are not design magnets and his suggestions were so welcome and helpful. We loved his approach to the home building process as it seemed as if he were sincere in building it for his own family...a place that truly was a home. Parks is a great company. Firstly, the "two" reviews I finally found on the company were very positive but written by the two gurus that are posing as contractors (red flag #1). The so called owner preferred communicating via text and email (red flag#2) He showed up 1 to 2 hours late each visit (red flag #3)He arrived in a U-haul rental pickup truck each visit(red flag#4). He purchased one floor covering kit and a hand sander from Home Depot the morning of the job(red flag#5). After etching and scrubbing the floor, they sanded a few spots and tried to fill a few holes and left for the day. Next day begins the covering...to make a very long story short, when they were finished, it looked like a pigeon crapped all over the garage! They obviously had NEVER done this before but continuously trying to convince us that it'll get better. We were utterly dissatisfied and will have to spend even more money finding someone to clean this "crap" up and start over! Oh, Before I forget, found out about $900 too late, Shaun B has a criminal history and his partner Carson A is just tagging along for the ride.
