In order to set the stage, I am the kind of person who notices the difference in taste, sweetness and bitterness in M&Ms, due to their colorant. It has been an explosion of flavors, from the perfectly cooked and seasoned calamari, to hand rolls that have just the right amount of chili, crunchy weed and fresh tuna or salmon. Dessert was a hit, the almond sponge cake with vanilla ice cream, coconut milk and lychee was a superb combination of sweet, acid cloudy heaven. I will most definitely be back.

What an experience this was!…read more Every Tuesday Ryoshi has what they call "El Ronqueo", this is essentially dinner and a show. They get a 110K+ tuna that they ship from overseas and they cut it in front of you. You then get to order dishes from the fresh tuna. For drinks I ordered a Sapporo Light and sake. We ordered several appetizers for the table and nothing disappointed. I order the Ryoshi Roll and a of course, the Tuna Flight. The highlight is their raw sushi rolls, particularly the tuna as it is incredibly fresh. The best thing I had was the tuna flight, this tuna flight was better than some of the sushi I've had in LA. Would definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.

The only thing I'd say that threw me off a little was the strong garlicky flavor the broth had. Also the noodles were similar to the instant ramen noodles so the texture isn't the best. Several years later I still enjoy it, although now in their San Pedro location. The ambiance is more Japanese and the menu is enormous! Upon arrival we met a group of Japanese friends having dinner and trying things we had never seen before. We were adventurous and tried the fogu soup, gyozas and yakisoba. Since the menu is so big you can never be bored. Additionally, it serves real traditional Japanese dishes that are hard to find in Monterrey where people like tropicalized Mexican maki rolls. This place never disappoints and is a crowd pleaser since both food and service are great. Always recommended!
