I feel very lucky to have this place 5 minutes from my home. It's a lovely little garden centre with a really nice home grown feel to it, unlike other chain garden centres. There are always a wide variety of various shrubs, flower plants and herbs. There's the occasional vegetable plant too (although I don't visit incredibly frequently, perhaps they have more sometimes.) I've got some lovely cucumbers and fennel growing that I bought from them a few months ago.
They have a small selection of seeds, tools, pots (not a great variety but they promised they were expanding their range soon), nets, composts and fertilisers. What I found most useful, being a balcony gardener, is that they stock brackets that go over the balcony railings that will hold long plant troughs. I've got my tomatoes and peppers growing really well on these and they're very strong!
They sell (cut) Christmas trees in December too.
The staff are lovely and helpful, and there's a resident cat who is often snoozing in the shop-cabin. read more
