Being a SL native I have been to this festival many times…read more Every year there is live music, a few food booths, countless beer brands and types and few wine options. It is family friendly with a kids fun zone area located in a blocked off parking lot with a climbing wall, bounce house and games. The SL police make their presence known so other than a few "drunk in publics" not much happens, it is pretty safe. They have a booth set-up and also walk through the crowd. No outside alcohol and no furry dogs allowed. Bring cash and your ID if you want an adult beverage.

According to the mural, the Monarch butterflies leave multiple places in the northern most American cities and all head south, to one place in Southern Mexico, and San Leandro is one of the places they leave from. Good Mural, adds flavor to the area!!
