Call the number and it goes straight to a hilarious voicemail. You will hear a message by a cyborg.

This is the furthest inland I've stayed in San Diego and it was an adventure…read more Took Flixbus into town and if I had time I would've taken public transportation to the Rodeway Inn but I had an event to attend. So I got a car service. We talked and the closer we got to the Lemon Grove area of San Diego the more I realized this place is urban contemporary. Noted the Food4Less and Dollar Tree store if I needed anything after my event. Check in to the Rodeway Inn on Broadway was interesting. The door to the lobby was locked even thought it being early evening with the sun still up. The nice receptionist pointed to the side of the building to check in. I walked around the side to a plexiglass window and checked in. Read the sign on the wall about check out, non-smoking...etc. The receptionist was nice, well dressed, professional and gave me my room card. My room was on the ground floor. As I crossed to my room a shirtless older man was in the parking lot talking to himself. Inside my room it smelt like cigarettes. I'm sure the receptionist told me this inn was non-smoking. So I turned on the air conditioner to air out the room. Hurriedly freshened up and ironed my clothes for the event. My event was to see a theater premiere at The Moxie Theatre which was less than 10 invite drive from the Rodeway Inn. I ordered my car service. When my driver arrived I stepped out of the room and the look on her face was happy. She was nervous that the shirtless person was her guest. On the way to the theatre she asked me why I chose that inn and I told here that i'm just here to see my friends show and Rodeway Inn was close by. She told me this area is touch and go. After the theatre performance and mingling afterwards I went back to the Rodeway Inn to chill. The room smelled less smoky thanks to the air conditioner. I showered and grabbed the remote control to turn on the television to watch Saturday Night Live. The only thing that came up on the tv was "no signal". I tried all three output and no change. So I tried several times and no change. Ended up just watching things & scrolling on my phone. In the morning I relaxed and packed up around 10:15am. At 10:30am i headed to the plexiglass office area to check out. A woman exited a side door as I pressed to call button. No one came to the window. I pressed to call button about 3 times in five minutes with no employee to appear. I started thinking is this how they charge customers if they do not check out by 11am? Well the cleaning attendant stood next to me and knocked on the plexiglas. Because she had someone's phone and to tell the worker that a particular room had smokers. Guess they charge them. Finally an older man came from the back room looking tired. He received said phone and the room number of the smokers. I checked out and asked for a printed receipt. Did not want any unnecessary charges. The stay was nice. Very comfortable bed but the activity in the parking lot with random men walking around was shady at this inn. I walked to the subway station. It's very close.

It was sudden so I drove after working graveyard shift from las vegas to San Diego. Funeral is at five pm that same day. I drove ALONE. Got there at 2:30pm but check in wasn't until 4pm. So that ruined my schedule already. So I said I'll be back at 4. The guy was already giving me attitude. I came back at 4 gave him my DL and debit card. While he's checking me in I was reading the rules and regulations on the counter by the front desk. One says something like "no visitors are allowed at all times" so I was curious and asked what if one of my siblings or relative will come pick me up will he allow it and he said no and went on about explaining that it's property's policy and so on. And I totally understood. There's no argument there. And it was just a question, we moved on. Las Vegas just has a totally different guidelines that I'm a custom to. But as I was standing there he handed me back my cards and I'm all looking confused because he didn't say if we're done or if I'm all checked in so I asked What's my room number. He said he can't check me in. Reason: " Based on the conversation that we had, you violated a the hotel policy and I have the right to refuse service" I was laughing in my head and looked at the other guest that was standing there too witnessing all his nonsense. I said" so you refuse to check me in because I asked you a legitimate question about your policy and assumed that I'm going to break it?!, you haven't even checked me in and you accuse me of breaking a policy that I didn't do! You're not making any sense. " I never used any faul languages I was alone and maintained being professional. I work in customer service for 18 years In five star 4 diamond hotels in las vegas. Never have I encountered such service. So I moved on. Tried reaching out to the management team but no response and so I contacted Better business Bureau. After two attempts of BBB here's their response... PS. There's cameras and documents to prove that I'm alone and never made a scene and verbally abused him. Crystal Bravo The Better Business Bureau MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS: Dear Sir / Madam, The guest was refused service as he did not want to stay with rules of the hotel. The guest was inquiring to have visitors come in and out of the hotel. The hotel does not allow that. We market the hotel as a Quiet Hotel and our guests stay here for that service. For that reason we do not allow visitors. We did refund the charges. We explained this to the guest, but he and his visitors ganged up on our clerk and used abusive language. At that point our clerk had no choice, but to refuse service. Regards, Management

But I will say, I was a scratch drinker that day, and the views made every swing (and sip) worth it. It started as the perfect quiet couple's round with just us, taking in the scenery, chatting, and enjoying the well-kept, super fast greens. Then about halfway through, two super chill (and very loud) dudes in jeans rolled up and joined us. Not your typical golf attire, but honestly they were hilarious. The vibe totally shifted from romantic to ridiculous, but in a good way. They did crash their cart at one point (they were fine), and it kind of felt like a scene from a buddy comedy. (Also, they were Dodger fans, but we ended up liking them despite that. )Their attire and behavior tells you a lot about what is acceptable behavior at this course. The course is well maintained, not crowded, and full of natural beauty. The homes you wind through are beautifully landscaped, and the whole place has a peaceful, resort-like charm. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the pricing as it's a bit steep for being in Mexico, though still fair for the views and quality. If you're looking for a unique golf adventure, Bajamar is totally worth the drive down from San Diego. Next time, I might actually focus on my swing. Or not.

Wouldn't recommend anyone going through Ramona.m on Airbnb aka Karan. The Rooms are also dirty and a dirty mattress was outside our Window the whole time. The parking is annoying for guests. You can't have anyone over past 11 pm without risking their car being towed. On top of that the gardening and upkeep seems to be getting worse and worse by the day. They literally have stopped caring and for all I know, the owners and management doesn't care anymore about it either. It's all about saving a quick penny and making a quick buck now. The gardeners are shit now and here's why. I understand having to spray certain chemicals to keep up with plant life and what not, but what I don't understand if why they don't take a quick minute to let the people who do own animals know that they are about to spray chemicals that can potentially affect their animals. One negligent and irriespinsible gardener decided to spray some harsh chemical next to my dog without my concent or knowledge and now he's at the veterinary hospital fighting for his life. I wouldn't put it past him to have purposefully sprayed my dog in the face. This is the most irresponsible, irreversible, and ublnbelievable situation that could have happened. So basically if you prefer to live in an area that actually cares about its area, tenants, and name, then I would suggest staying away from this place.
