It is easy to get to, clean, you can go without a previously made appointment and receive a consultation, the office staff is usually friendly, and even though I haven't had an appointment previously made, I don't have to wait an obscene amount of time. In the majority of my experiences the doctors have been able to communicate in English very well. I have only had one instance in which the doctor wasn't able to speak English, and in that case a medical assistant came in and was able to translate. The care I have received has always been good. I have never seen the same doctor once, but have never had a bad experience with any of them.

Since arriving in Switzerland, I had put my visit to see a Gynaecologist on hold, even though one…read moreshould go for an annual check up. Finally, after several different people provided me with strong recommendations for this doctor, I made an appointment. The first bonus is that most of the office staff speaks some English, even on the phone. I think this was the first doctor appointment in Switzerland that I was able to make an appointment half in French and half in English. The office is located near the Geneva train station and is in a really cool space. It is not directly located on the street. You go through a door on the main street, and then walk through a courtyard with a fountain, and then into another building and on the first floor to the left is the entrance to the office. After waiting for a few minutes, the doctor came and greeted me with a smile and led me back to the office. The space is very clean and bright. He was knowledgeable, listened very well to my concerns and past medical history, and very clearly was able to explain everything to me. You are provided a place to change and a given a robe. Overall as far as these type of visits go everything was as expected. It is great to have finally found an English speaking doctor that I can trust.

I see her as my general doctor, but she also specializes in endocrinology, so I was able to see one doctor for both things. She is an English speaking doctor, and the receptionist in person speaks English. I have tried calling to make appointments, and as I am learning French that has become easier, but on the phone they only took appointments in French. I have found this is common for the receptionists even in clinics that have English speaking doctors. The staff is all very friendly, and the clinic is clean. I recommend Dr. Rags to any of my friends in the Geneva area. She used to practice in the US before moving to Switzerland for family.
