Project Date: September 2015 Project Price: $6,000.00…read more WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY. We are located in Pierrefonds in the West Island of Montreal. We hired Eco Patio/Monarque Renovations to build a new deck in September 2015. The wood used to build the patio support post was below sub standard - EVERY SINGLE WOOD POST USED TO ANCHOR THE STRUCTURE HAS A VERTICAL CRACK IN IT. We are very fearful for the integrity as the years will pass and called their representative Jonathon to inspect it last year in September 2016. He came to inspect it on one occasion only with a representative from the wood company. They took some pictures and said they would call back with a solution. It is now September 2017. We are still waiting for his call and the wood posts have deteriorated even more. We do not recommend this company to anyone who wants a quality, long lasting product or if you expect reliable after sales service.

After requesting quotes from several different companies, we found theirs by far the most reasonable and their attention by far the most personal, with Carlo actually traveling to our place to examine the space before offering an estimate. He was very accommodating in answering all of our initial questions, despite one of us being away at the time, and we were happy to book their service upon receipt of their quote. I do suggest anyone interested in working with this company prepare to accommodate schedule changes, particularly if you have a small project, as we did. Communication with and between all of the people involved in the project was a little spotty before the painter arrived, particularly because we had two associated phone numbers; so you should be flexible if you want to take full advantage of this service and its value. When the painter did arrive, he was attentive to our specific concerns regarding the areas of the room to be patched, and finished the task quickly and efficiently without being at all intrusive. Like Carlo, he answered all our questions, and was very knowledgeable about the tools of his trade. And when, after the paint dried, it turned out the room needed another coat to achieve full coverage--something we didn't begrudge at all, as it would have been impossible to determine this before the paint finished drying--he came back the very next day to add that third coat, working with just as much efficiency as he did the first time. Overall, we were very happy with our first experience with this company, the value of their service, and the quality of the work. It's refreshing to have an updated space, and we think it might be our favorite room in the place now. In fact, we appreciated Peintre Prestige's work so much, we asked them back to paint our hallway in December of that same year. As before, initial communication after receiving the quote was touch-and-go, though on this occasion that could certainly be attributed to the holiday season. But once we had firmly established a date for the work to be done, the painter arrived as scheduled, finishing the job just as quickly, efficiently, and professionally as he did the first time. On this occasion, he was even early! As we chose a paint color closer to the original color on the wall this time, there was no need for a third coat, and our walls and baseboards looked fresh and neat straight away. I am so pleased with the way the apartment looks now, and cannot wait to hang more art on these newly painted walls! In short, Carlo and his team clearly care about doing a good and thorough job on their projects from quote to finish, and we would certainly recommend Peintre Prestige to anyone looking for a reasonably priced painting service in Montreal!
