I have never had such an unpleasant meeting with a healthcare provider ever. Even the front desk staff at check in was rude and unfriendly. I recommend going anywhere but here for your healthcare needs.

This review is from last Winter. I have since switched to a different doctor and facility and found…read morethem to be completely different and 110% better. Here is my take on this clinic from my experience written in December 2018: My only regret is that I didn't read these reviews well enough before my appt. Didn't know about the "7 minute policy" if you are late. New to the area since this Fall. Traffic here is a bear even mid day. Gave me a multiple page packet when I showed up asking about what my child can and cannot do...and then ask the same exact questions from the packet once you're in the appointment. Don't bother taking records or signing releases for them to get them. They still won't have them a couple months after all said signatures and paper work have been provided. Her first appt they struggled with what shots she needed even AFTER I provided the shot record list from my babies previous provider. That should have been my sign. Today they wanted to give her another flu shot (that would have made this a 3rd dose which she DOES not need 3 only 2 and they had already given her the 2nd one the last appointment we came to. Then wanted to give her another shot that she also didn't need. They knew I wasn't impressed. They knew I was not happy. Then tried to smooth it over. Sorry...not buying it. If you can't do your job...can't get your poop in a group and you can't actually make a record of what you have given my child I will gladly take my business elsewhere. I've never had a provider this incompetent before.

I don't know how anyone could give this hospital five stars. Maybe the hospital itself. If I had…read moreto sum my experience with Confluence in one word it would be "Attitude." As in a poor attitude. It starts with the nurses. Egotistical, arrogant, superior attitude. I am a retired, degreed professional, and the nurses expected obsequience. If asked a simple medical question it was taken as an afront. After admission it took 24 hours for the specialist to examine my son, and even then he hadn't spoken with the referring physician. And this specialist was informing me my son would be in surgery within twelve hours. After speaking with the specialist for two minutes it was evident he knew nothing about my sons case. That, coupled with the aggressive and dismissive attitude of the nurses motivated me to remove him from their care. When I made the decision to remove my son from their care the nurse literally ripped the IV out and left his wound bare, without a bandage. I took my son straight to UW Montlake in Seattle. At UW my son was seen by four specialists within one hour of arrival. We were told an infection had spread to his bones. They were aghast at the condition of the wound. The doctors were conservative in their approach and he was given a one week course of IV antibiotics and eventually sent home with a twelve week course of oral antibiotics. The specialists at UW said a one day delay could have resulted in amputation or death. It's my opinion the Confluence "specialist" was intending to amputate. Subsequently, the "providers" at Confluence filed with the State of Washington accusing me of abuse. The absolute gall of it infuriates me to this day. This accusation reeks of retribution, which it is and was. Also, I've spoken with others about the "CARE" received at Confluence. It seems there a LOT of amputations there. One other thing, I've noticed a thinly veiled racism from the nursing staff. In my opinion, they expect brown people to defer to them and treat them as though they are not to be questioned. As I live in Wenatchee, I've made arrangements to be moved to UW if any emergency arises. If the passes are closed, via aircraft. Fortunately, I have the resources to do this. I pity those who have to rely on Confluence for care.

I have great hesitation about returning to this place again, and I've been putting off writing this…read morereview for quite a while. I thought the front office staff was extremely welcoming, helpful and professional. Like a reviewer below, I wasn't able to get in as fast as I'd hoped, but - given the circumstances of the world right now - I didn't let that bother me too much. This clinic is close to home and convenient to drive to. I had been working with their PTA, Brandie, who unfortunately was condescending and visibly annoyed while working with me. She would giggle after making passive comments about me/my performance in order to present the comments as playful, which was extremely unsympathetic considering my physical situation and level of pain. I felt like she was mocking me. At one point she even angrily snapped "I'm trying to help you!" when I winced during therapy. I don't believe any professional should be snapping at patients simply for having a reaction to the pain. That's part of the job and a big part of therapy. I guess my facial expressions displeased her? Strange. If I decide to return I will be requesting to work only with other staff.

The facility is good sized and has a lot of options for recovery in the way of pool, machines, massage, and floor equipment . I was lucky to get to work with Chris who has helped me through a number of challenges. I went in with a walker and now I am back to getting on with life as usual. I am healthier, stronger, and more flexible. Chris would listen to me when I said I found pain and we would work to remove it and keep on going. He would keep the workouts always changing and so it was never boring. Biosports has a lot of trainers. If you don't click with yours you could always ask for another one.
