We had a fantastic experience working with Grill Masters for the cleaning of our grill. John was incredibly flexible with our schedule. We had to be out of town on the day our service was scheduled and John was able to keep our appointment for us... and diligently kept us apprised via phone on the progress. He was able to identify a couple of things that may need replacing in the future (like 2 years from now), even giving us an estimate of how much that would cost. He didn't push for us to make any unnecessary repairs or replacements. He was fair and honest, which goes a long way in my book. Our grill looks absolutely fantastic. Grill Masters and John specifically performed the one and only grill cleaning on my Lynx Grill just after Labor Day. Had the grill for 4 years. Never serviced or cleaned. John did a great job on it. Does it look brand new? Nope, but close, which is exactly what John promised. Still looks great today. No mess. Had purchased grill originally at Barbecues Galore. But when called for service, BG said no longer sold Lynx and had no recommendations. John is certified Lynx guy. In short, good experience and can recommend. read more

We have a very large, high-end, built-in grill that I was concerned about finding the right people to clean/repair it. So I contacted the manufacturer and they referred me to John. He was quite reasonable and struck me as honest during the two conversations I had on the phone with him. John came out and brought Chris with him. They got right down to work, used tarps (to protect our concrete flooring and counters) and repaired a couple minor problems without charging me more. I had never used a Bar-B-Que cleaning service before, but desperately needed one for our one -year-old 6 burner unit. After researching possible services on Yelp, it was an easy decision to call Grill Masters. John, the owner, returned my call within 24 hours and worked with my schedule to set up an appointment the following week. He and his co-worker arrived on time, assessed the grill's needs, including a clogged burner, and explained what they would do to bring my grill back to new! The results were amazing! We didn't purchase a high end grill (but will the next time) but their work result sure looked as if we had! The previously clogged burner now works perfectly and the others, in danger of soon being clogged, are perfectly clean. John also gave me some pointers on maintenance and preventative care. Very happy with the service provided. We were on a very tight schedule due to a very important dinner party at our home, John and his guys, Chris and Chris managed to fit us in their busy schedule for a routine cleaning of our grill, and upon inspection, they noticed that the gas line to our grill wasn't initially installed with a regulator, and with the excessive heat generated without it, began to the rust and pit the grill, even making two inch hole beneath the grill plates where you couldn't see it thus making the grill unusable for the party, and even worse, possibly red-tagging the gas line to our home. Needless to say, we were in a bind and needed a solution quickly without the hassles and cost of buying a new grill that may or may not be installed before the party, but however miraculously had a suitable refurbished replacement that also fit where the old one was. The grill was successful installed and the party amazing. Great Company would recommend in a heartbeat. read more

I chose Grill Masters because it showed up #1 on Yelp. When I called to make the appointment I spoke with John who explained to me that my Weber Genesis was essentially not "typically what they worked on", which translates to not an expensive enough grill. After this John explained that there prices were higher than other places and I may want to try elsewhere for such a grill. I explained I was more concerned about quality work and didn't mind the price. At this point he was finally willing to "fit me in" to the schedule. Talk about pulling teeth for an appointment and good customer service. Fast forward to appointment day, Grill Masters did not show up within the 12pm to 3pm window as discussed with John. I was then called 15min after 3pm and the employee from Grill Masters explained he was late (no duh!) and was gonna grab some food first then head over and be there by 4pm. Then I receive a call at 10min to 4pm explaining they finished eating and would be at my home closer to 430pm. When no one had still arrived by 5pm we called them and no one answered (big surprise!). At this point we left a voicemail cancelling. I guess I learned my lesson with Grill Masters. I should have understood from the beginning that what John was really saying was that we weren't worth his time. Message received. Avoid Grill Masters unless you have a grill that they will consider worth their time and effort. read more

I owe these guys an updated review. They sent me a reminder that it's been a year since the last cleaning which was great because grill cleaning isn't always a priority on my mind. I loved that they took the initiative to hit me up with a reminder. They were accomodating as always with the scheduling and as always the cleaning turned out amazing. I especially like how they check the burners, test everything, provide recommendations if there are issues, etc. all in all, they are worth trying out if you haven't already. John from Grill Masters was just out to my home today to service my 13-year-old grill. Not only was he punctual and polite, but he was also super honest and efficient. John had quoted me a price on the phone, but once he got here and looked at the grill, he felt that my grill was probably under warranty. Certain parts were old and starting to bend. He contacted the grill manufacturer for me right on the spot and got me the parts free of charge (other than shipping and tax)! I had no idea that my 13-year-old grill would still be under warranty or qualify for any parts! With that, the deep cleaning that was necessary was reduced and John likewise reduced his charges. I gotta tell you, I have been procrastinating getting my bbq cleaned. I typically do it when the flare ups take over the food. I finally called Grill Masters and John came out to give me the price to make my bbq sparkly again. I thought it was a little pricey, but it was so worth it. Ryan did such a great job. My grill was dirty, grates were sticky, and the whole inside was greasy. Ryan got to work and transformed by bbg. I have a 6 burner Webber that I've had for 20 years. The grates are back to the original color. Two burners were clogged and flames only burned in one section of the bbq. They will now burn evenly. I am so pleased. I see this bbq lasting me a whole lotta years. Another thing, Ryan made sure he put down cloths to keep the mess only on their cloths.
