I was walking over to Lidl to get some snacks and chocolate, and I passed by Grill Koket. It's a foodstand that smelled good as I walked by it.
After spending some time at Lidl, I came back and decided to have dinner here. There was a bell that you needed to ring if no one was there. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to order. The menu is completely in Swedish. However, the pictures helped me a ton.
Luckily, the woman who helped me spoke perfect English. I was so relieved! I ordered the Swedish meatballs. It came with mashed potatoes, lingonberry sauce, and salad.
My food with my can of Coke Lite cost me 69 SEK. I paid with my credit card. You need to enter your PIN if you can't read Swedish like me.
The downside was that my phone shut itself down and I lost the photo that I had taken of my food along with a Coke Lite. Ugh! I do remember a plastic beige fork and a knife jabbed in my mashed potatoes.
It was delicious! The meatballs were a bit crispy on the outside and juicy inside. You needed a knife to cut them in half. Dip them in the lingonberry sauce (heck, everything tasted good with this sauce) and you are in heaven. The salad made me feel better that I was eating a bit healthier.
I sat at one of the tables outside. The woman was friendly and called me when my food was ready. Soon afterwards, four folks came up to order food. See, I am a food magnet... haha!
I love this place. It's by the train station and the park. It's the perfect place to grab a delicious bite to eat for cheap.
