The suggestions were spot on! Cassoulet was amazing and the Faux Filet, aka Top Sirloin, was perfectly cooked. The owners are really good about taking time to talk to you.. It turns out that they used to operate restaurants in Paris and their quality and service is great. It appeared that many of the diners were locals. Although we were in Foix multiple days and ate at a number of places, we probably came here the most!

Unique combination of food. Service was excellent, our waitress was sweet, patient and spoke English. Excellent choice is the menu du jour (menu of the day) and several prix fixe options. Thou, not many selections for vegetarians. I highly suggest staying with the regional & seasonal food. Buon apetite!
