I called the company after I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment, and asked the representative on the phone how much it would cost. He was hesitant to tell me (I had to ask twice), and then said there was a flat fee of 72 euros for opening the lock, plus 19,99 for every 15 minutes of extra work time. What he specifically DIDN'T say is that the 30 minutes it took the man to get here was included in the billable work time, plus 30 minutes back. This brought my total to an inexplicable 170 euros for what amounted to about 15 seconds of actual work. While emergency key services are usually pricey, I have since learned that this is about 100 euros more than any local company charges. I never would have given them the contract if I had known that they calculate the work this way. What a rip-off!
