I've been coming here for years!!! First met the owner Tommy in 2010. I've watched Southend go through its transformation and Greystone is still top of the game! Food menu is excellent can never go wrong with a Greek bowl or the Hoagies! The signature Andy's Heavyweight is always a go to when looking for something filling! Brand new Pizza oven installed and adding to an already excellent menu new menu items coming soon!! The daily drink specials are amazing $5 shots. Monday nights service industry night Half Price everything! You can't drink anywhere in Charlotte cheaper on a Monday night than you can at Greystone Pub! Great place to watch Monday night football with 6 big screen TV's surrounding the bar excellent seating for you and all your friends! One of the hottest DJ's in Charlotte DJ JGood spinning from 11pm-2am! Thursday nights some of the best live music around! Weekends it's the spot to be with different events happening at night with EDM DJ's and dancing! College football Saturday come watch Big Ten football Ohio State and all the top games! NFL Sunday if you're from Ohio or anywhere in between watch the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals as an Official Ohio Sports teams backers bar not to mention Cleveland baseball games and basketball games. Never forget to support your local teams with the Hornets and the Panthers games also on tv. Greystone Pub is the place to be in Southend it's walking distance from the New Bern light rail station and the many neighborhood apartments in the surrounding area! Living in the neighborhood is one of the reasons I choose Greystone pub when eating or drinking! Even if you don't live in the neighborhood if you're coming from as far south as Pineville or as far north as Huntersville or anywhere in between Greystone is the place to be!

Another awesome hidden gem in the South End area. If you haven't been to Grey Stone Pub your missing out! Would you believe this bar has been serving up cold beer and awesome burgers since 1947? Clearly, the owners know a thing or two about great service. This is a great place to meet for game day fun! There's plenty of parking for customers. There's a small patio area that's great for small gatherings, no worries this area is covered. The menu offers a good variety of options with a greek inspired twist. With prices starting at $8, customers can enjoy well-portioned meals that will leave you satisfied. Be sure to try the seasoned fries! Here's a few menu items I've tried: Greek Nachos - Served with their signature spicy tzatziki Triple S! Wings (7ct) - The mild sauce is made in-house, Sweet & delish. (My favorite) Andy's Heavyweight Hoagie - served with greek marinated flank steak, grilled onions topped with baked provolone cheese! Oh, and let's not forget the drinks! From my understanding, GreyStone started the Capri Sun trend in CLT. Last night I enjoyed the Pineapple mojito, I couldn't taste pineapple (maybe my taste buds are off). The Blueberry mule was really good, I'd recommend trying this. I really enjoyed my visit to Greystone pub, the people are nice and the food is spectacular!

Alway enjoy coming here! The food, drinks, service and pricing is great. They feel like neighborhood bar and you are a regular. If there is ever a group of gals that want to get a drink after work this is my recommendation! There's great games that can be shared with your group and even a little ping pong game. The music is nice, it's not too loud, the perfect volume that your not yelling at your friends. I believe they also have a live band, from the stage I noticed in the bar area. If you stop by definitely order the nachos they are my favorite along with the watermelon Capri Sun!

I can also attest that during high profile games like the European finals, the entire Brevard Courtyard fills in for a festive atmosphere dedicated to the excitement of the competition. The bar is divey, and you can find very cheap drinks, especially if you go for the daily specials. The bartenders are nice - beware that they do keep your card if you keep your tab open - and seem to know the regulars. In addition to monthly bingo, they seem to host drag events, have video games and board games available to play, as well as several TVs. Plus, dogs can go inside and out. The bar does not serve food, though usually there is a vendor there. Looking forward to next month!

I have only been in a few times so I can comment on if their patrons typically adhere to this code of conduct! Overall I think it is worth checking out if you've never been and maybe it will grab you and you will want to become a regular. Me personally it's a little out of the way to become a regular haunt located in between Plaza and NoDa but not walking distance from either. Also it's not that the service was ever unfriendly but I just didn't feel like it was my vibe. Still a cool bar though and I can see why other enjoy it.

The beer list is legitimately impressive; easily one of the most extensive and well curated selections I've seen in a while. Whether you're a crisp-Pilsner purest or hunting for something obscure, they've got you covered. Food wise, solid overall. The Brussels sprouts were on point unfortunately the chicharrones fell flat as they were drowned in hot sauce which made them soggy almost immediately. Tip - Try them with the sauce on the side. Spot was quiet on a Wednesday night and the vibe was laid back and unpretentious. This made for efficient service. Not sure how a busier night would unfold. We came in at a time when it wasn't really busy, but it took forever for our server to come around. Ordered two glasses of red and the cheese plate only to be told after we received the wine that there was no charcuterie -- at all. Not a "need to substitute" or "we're missing one of the items" just completely 86ed. Despite being prominently featured at the top of the menu! Since we already had our wine, we had to order something else. I went with the cheese sticks, and my mom ordered a hamburger based on what the table next to us had. When she got her burger though, despite us ordering the same as the table next to us, it was a completely different burger. She ate it anyway and my cheese sticks were okay for pub food. But overall, a really disappointing experience based on what we expected. And we had to hunt down the server to pay so we could get back to the conference on time.

The German biers are some of the best I've tried. Both the Cooper altbier and Hornets Nest were excellent while their porter was a little too heavy for me. I'd recommend the sampler plate with the Jalapeño Cheddar Bratwurst as one choice ( you get three) and Jumbo Pretzel with Cooper Bier cheese & Düsseldorf mustard. The sides, such as their German potato salad, red cabbage and sauerkraut are very good. In addition theres a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, salads to choose from. The outside venue is amazing with ample outside seating featuring a fire pit, corn hole ( collect bags at the bar), children's playground and a water station for pets. Overall a great place to grab a beer and enjoy some authentic German style food at reasonable pricing. In addition OMB features private rooms for special events. One note parking could be problematic when it gets busy on weekends or special occasions but if you're willing to walk you'll find parking somewhere .

I love a place that lives their motto. "drink good beer, do good things"…read more The place: wide open with plenty of seating inside and out. The cans we bought started leaking, we went back and asked if the leakage was a problem. They asked a few questions and profusely apologized and gave us two six packs of their beer with no charge. I tried to pay but they refused. They could have just said "sorry to hear" and sent us on our way but they made us whole.
