BEAUTIFUL LANDMARK IN UPTOWN COLUMBUS GEORGIA…read more================================================ My husband and I were staying across the river at the end of April and beginning of May while visiting my son. This whole complex including the water tower is so strikingly beautiful in the way it looks. I just couldn't help myself from taking multiple photos of it. This big property is now mixed-use residential and commercial property, but it was originally a cotton mill back in 1860. I really hate this part of history, but I am just explaining the history of this complex. They produced the material for the Confederate uniforms during the Civil War. The Eagle Mills buildings were burned during the war, but were rebulit in 1869 and renamed the Eagle & Phenix Mills to symbolize rising from the ashes. It became the largest mill in the south by 1878. W. C. Bradley was on the board of the company that owned the mill and he ended up owning the mill from 1915 until 1947. In December of 2003 the mill property was repurchased by W. C. Bradley Co.. If you drive around Uptown Columbus you will see that name on most of the properties along the Chattahoochee River. Just "Google" it and you will learn more history of the property. Check out my photos.

We moved in April 2024. The beginning process was …read more.. sketchy enough. We applied online. Got approved. And moved in all in under 7 days. During that time no one in the office answered my calls. First red flag. They still won't answer the phone now that we live here. I've walked into the leasing office while calling and they will just look at it ring .... I can't take my toddler to the playground. It's not shaded so the play stuff is always HOT. We constantly see wasp when we try to go as well. The gym is ALWAYS dirty. Dust, trash. There's no cleaning supply so the equipment is also always nasty. There's never tissue or toilet paper in the restrooms of that area either ... use at your own risk basically. The pool closes at 8. Which is really early for the summer if you ask me. The pool is also typically closed for one reason or another. Oh and they charge 250-300 to use the other pool available on site. $75-$100 is understandable 250-300 is just greedy. Pool isn't thermo controlled so it tends to feel like thick swamp water by noon/1. The pool pass policy isn't efficient either. We pay so much to only get 2 guest per apartment. ALSO the dump is by the pool so you offer get a whiff of funky trash air while you're trying to enjoy a tiny warm outdoor bath tub. Plumbing SUCKS. I do at least 4 work orders a month for my toilets or sinks being clogged up. Maintenance is pretty responsive I guess. It normally takes 24-72 hours for my issues to be resolved. In my apartment there are a lot of cracks in the doors , seems like the foundation could use a lift. But this has allowed access to centipedes , ants , & spiders. I'm a SAHM and I've never seen pest control so I just spray my own. Lawn care is hit or miss. There's not much shade/trees around - maybe that's a me thing but it'd help with the heat in the parking lot. It be hot asf and no where shady to park. Overall I give them a 4/10 thus far. We probably won't be renewing here after our lease is up if they don't tend to the property , amenities & resident a bit better. Especially for what we pay.

I had a horrible time living here. 1st thing is the noise from thin walls and floors. If you like…read morethe smell of weed coming through your apartment this is the place for you. End of the lease is where the sleaziness comes out from the office. They will hit you with all sorts of fees and outright lie. They will try to keep your deposit by any means. The manager hides in the office and will never answer phone calls. Beware!
