The seller woman was very rude, impolite, unfriendly and extremely aggressive. At the end I did not buy the carpet from them because of her unacceptable attitude. Have never met a seller with that arrogance in my entire life. If I was her, would attend to a 'How to Treat Customers' training as she desperately needs that. Family business. Charged for underlay we ordered, but supplied an inferior product without asking or telling us about price difference. We only received a refund on the difference because we brought it to their attention. When we complained, we received unprofessional service. The assistant would not admit he had made a mistake. We have purchased carpet for every room in our house from this company as we prefer to support local family businesses, but we will never use Greyfriars again. They did not even offer a payment as a goodwill gesture for their mistake and the inconvenience caused. Obviously, Customer loyalty is not a priority for this company. We will shop at John Lewis in future, where they care about Customer satisfaction. read more

Poor service, poor fitting service. Paid a lot of money for a quality bedroom carpet. Once the fitter had gone there were lots of wet glue marks all over it. On calling to complain we were referred to the fitter who never came back to us. Eventually someone came out and removed most of the glue with solvent which then left an awful smell in the room. Despite complaining no-one has taken responsibility or even been willing to do any more to appease us than that. We have whole house to carpet and the website makes them out to be professional and committed to quality & service. We will go elsewhere for the rest of the house. read more

Such a terrible company. Had carpets fitted upstairs including landing and bedrooms, the fitter made a mistake and cut the carpet wrong, attempted to hide it by using a damaged cut piece of carpet and when I noticed it the next day claimed it was my fault for measuring wrong. The management will accpet NO responsibilty for anything and refuse to even come and look at the work instead keep sending another fitter to try and repair it when it needs a new piece. I will NEVER use this company again, they are a joke and the manager should not be in charge of getting dressed in the morning never mind a so called professional company. read more
