this small local business is absolutely amazing! I didn't have to wait days and weeks to get them to come and fix my dryer. They didn't try to upsell me or charge me an outrageous price. they came when they said they would, they were quick. They got the job done and I could not be happier to recommend them. I could not believe how inexpensive it was to get the dryer up and running. I would've spent that much at the laundromat. I will use them from now on. I highly recommend that you call them before you replace any major appliances. read more

HORRIBLE!!! 100% do not recommend. I purchased a dryer, it was delivered on a Tuesday and wouldn't turn on. I had to call 6 times to get someone to send a tech out Friday. He determined it must be the outlet. I was obviously unaware that it was the outlet, or I would have trouble shot that before I bought a new dryer. Was told on the phone to bring my receipt and get a refund less delivery fee which I understood. I arrive and the man says it cost them money for delivery and tech visit. And I said the lady on the phone said it would be less the delivery fee. Honest mistake I didn't know my outlet didn't work. I started to get frustrated because he kept pushing back as if he was not going to give me a refund, and all courteousness on both of our parts devolved from there. He threw up his hands and leaned back in his chair and was like yeah I don't feel like it now. Single mom, no dryer, honest mistake, was told on the phone I could get a refund. If it hadn't been my outlet, it still took 3 days and many phone calls (none of which were returned) to get someone out. It takes a lot for me to get this fired up about a bad experience, but this was ABOVE AND BEYOND what needed to happen. I will blast this place until the day I die. If I could do negative stars I would. read more

Greg's Appliance Mart - Horrible customer service, rude, argumentative, difficult. - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Saint Joseph, Missouri

Bought a used refrigerator. It has been on the known problem list and a class action suit against Samsung. I should have done my own research. Do not trust this store. read more

Greg's Appliance Mart - Don't buy this model Samsung fridge. - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Saint Joseph, Missouri

I called Greg's on Friday & they were able to send someone to fix my stove on Monday. The repairman man (Caleb) was very pleasant & professional. He was quick to discover the problem & was able to fix it in less than an hour. I highly recommend this business. read more

I called Greg's for a washing machine repair, I spoke to Matt. He didn't want to set up an appointment to come out to take a look, he wanted to try to troubleshoot over the phone and through text messages. To make a long story short, he told me to just unplug my washer for "about an hour" which would "reset the computer in the washer" and it should start working again. I did that. My washer worked for 1 more load after I plugged it back in. I didn't even follow up with Matt. I decided to call Guaranteed Appliance Repair instead. They wanted to set up an appointment and they came out the next day and had my problem fixed within an hour. My washer works now. So, thanks to Matt, Greg's Appliance lost a customer, lost money, gained a bad review, and sent me to their competition. read more

My wife and I needed a dryer badly! We went to see The staff at Greg"s appliance mart, and the took great care of us! Gave us a great deal, and delivered for a great price in less than 24 hours! Thanks guys! Paul & Staci F. read more

We had a terrible experience with Gregs. We bought a washer, dryer, fridge, and stove from them and have had a lot of trouble. The people who were supposed to deliver it were late by several hours, and damaged my house gettting the appliances inside. Now the fridge is leaking and under warranty when we told them about it, and no one has shown up to fix it. They said to wait at the house today, which is un air conditioned, all afternoon. Couldnt give us a time frame at all. So I waited from noon to 6pm and no one showed. At 7pm I got a text from these people they apparently hired and they said since no one was there we would have to wait til sometime Thuraday now. No accurate time frame again. No one called to tell us they were going to be late. Terrible service and horrible people who dont care about their customers. Avoid at all costs! read more

I went in on a Saturday to buy a used washer. A young lady behind the counter and an older man who said he was the owner's father in law both helped me. We found a nice machine without a price tag. The young lady quoted a price and said she would hold it until the following Weds. I gave her my name and phone, the man and I both signed a paper with the price on it. When I went in as agreed to pay, a different man was there. He denied knowing the girl, the man or the washer. He said they must have sold it, but it was sitting right in front of me with a higher price on it. After listening to his excuses for several minutes, I decided I didn't want him to have my money after all and left. read more

Worst experience buying a washer in my life! Came in on a Thursday. Made an appointment for a house call on the following Friday. Lady who refused to give us her name, told us that they only had one appointment booked for that Friday, so the repair man would be at our house between 10-1 pm. They were not able to repair our washer. Took our washer and sold us another washer for $190.00 including delivery charge. Did one load of laundry and now it is not working either. Called the store to asked for the manager. Was hung up by the same woman who refused her name. She told me that she wasn't the one to repair the machines and was unable to help us because the owner was out of town in Kansas City. All we get is the run around. Staring the process to contact BBB and police department. Be strongly warned that this company is very shady. They supposedly offer "30 day" warranty but we cant even get them to contact us back. They refuse to answer our call. It just rings. read more

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. The only reason there is a star, is because 0 was not an option. I bought a dryer with a 30 day warranty. Less than two weeks after purchasing it, it stopped working. They would not answer or return my calls for a week, so I went in. Instead of coming out and looking at it like their warranty says, they gave me a fuse to replace myself. That worked for 2 days. Called again, this time they had us buy the fuse for $20. This was still within the 30 days, so we should not have had to purchase anything. However, in order to avoid an argument, we paid. Again, that was a temporary few-day fix. For the past week (now past the 30 days) Matt, the owner, has not returned calls and has made an appointment for someone to come out, then they did not. Matt then called yesterday and advised it was our job to bring the dryer to him to look at. We did. I received a call today that the motor is bad (which will cost $75) and that the dryer was full of sawdust and sheet rock dust. I let him know we had a brand new vent and there is no sawdust or sheet rock dust in our finished basement. Also, we took the back off and there was nothing blocking it. Told him I do not feel we should have to pay this because if he would have came out within the 2 weeks the first time, he would have known it was the motor and it would still be within the warranty period. He then proceeded to scream at the top of his lungs that I am unprofessional, and my husband and father are as well. I asked him how so? I have not raised my voice once? He continued to scream at me and say "screw you" and "have one of those guys call me!". I let him know he is extremely unprofessional and disconnected the call. Matt is a greedy snake who does not honor his warranties and most definitely does not value his customers. read more

Due to a good experience I had with this store several years ago I recommended it to a friend, I am so sorry I did. My friend purchased a washer for his daughter who lives in Liberty. After installing it we found it didn't work. After a couple of contentious phone calls (due to the owners attitude) it was decided we needed to bring the washer back to St. Joe. That evening a lady called and said they would send a technician to repair it and he would bring another one with him in case it couldn't be repaired. She was very nice & we decided the owner must be having a bad day. The tech couldn't fix it and he didn't bring another one with him, saying the owner didn't tell him to bring another one with him. So back to St Joe with the washer. The owner yelled at my friend, saying he didn't want to do business with a "tough guy"--why he said that we don't know. He was unreasonable and loud and not customer oriented. He did return the money. I will never, ever recommend this business to anyone. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE, be very aware of the kind of people you are dealing with-I do not understand how they can stay in business. I have never had an experience like this at any business. It was a really bad experience. read more

This place was nice. I went in a year ago to buy a washer and dry set. It came with a lifetime warranty. They will fix it for free I just have to pay for the parts. Two weeks ago my washer started acting up. I called and Matt the told me to bring it in and he'll take a look at it. He checked it the next day. He called and told me there wasn't any issue he could find but when I brought it home it kept acting up my basement got flooded. I text him with photo of my basement he apologized and offered me a new washer for free. I was so happy because I am expecting a new baby in few weeks and I couldn't afford a new washer or be without one. The business being a family owned they treated me and my family like theirs. I even met Matt's dad who is super nice and even kept my toddler busy while we was in there. This place is really nice I'll recommend it to anyone that is looking for appliances. The prices are reasonable. read more
