There were No Hotdogs!!! Or sandwiches of any kind. How easy would it be? There were tons of people there on a Saturday... little kids, parents, grandparents... they would probably make a killing! Not smart, it seems ....a missed opportunity!

To do so…read moreis a disservice to people coming here thinking they might have a nice park outing and to players who come here wanting to kick the ball around and have to deal with park goers. As a park... well, it's not a park. As a soccer field, Osburn has some charming features. The green space abuts a creek that provides a nice distraction for park goers not interested in what's going on on the field. Be advised that the space backs up on to private property so don't venture too far off the trail. The field itself is decently maintained and has some nice wooden benches that add an unexpected detail. That said, this is a residential soccer field. If you don't live nearby and don't have a soccer ball in tow, you have no business coming here. The name should be changed to Osburn Field. See how easy that was? I have a future in government.

I came to Nolensville Park with my pug to check out the dog park. Our regular dog park has been…read moretaken over by mud because of the non-stop rain, so we needed a drier area. When we first got the park, it was really busy because there were baseball practices going on. However, we were still able to find a parking spot because the lot is a good size. Baseball fields take up most of the park but to the left is a nice little "dog park". I put that in quotes because it's more of a small fenced in area than an actual park. What I really liked though was the separated parks for big dogs and small dogs. The small dog park is 29 lbs. and under. I love big dogs, but they can sometimes run over my cute little puggie. There is a nice gated entrance that offers a safe entrance/exit. Right when we entered the park we were greeted by 2 other pugs!!! What a dream. My dog didn't care too much about the other pugs but I sure had a fun time petting them. A few more small dogs made their way into the park. It was a fun little dog party. The area itself is not very big. For my small dog it was enough for her to wander around and explore a bit. She doesn't need a lot of room to roam so it was fine with me. There are a few obstacle like structures for the dogs but I'm thinking a lot of the smaller dogs are not exactly top athletes to use the structures. The park was really clean which I appreciated. Sometimes the dog parks get so full of poo that it's hard to walk around. They provide poop bags for you and I appreciate people putting these to use. Overall, we had a nice time at this little park. It's a little far from my place to come here a lot, but it's a nice alternative to our usual dog park. We walked around the baseball fields a bit and they looked very nice. It was a very clean area with lots of room for sports.

Nolensville Park houses ball fields and picnic spots, but we go for the dog park…read more With a shared fence, this very small dog park is divided into two areas - one for large breeds and the other for small. Both areas host several obstacles for your dog to run through and jump on, making it quite literally a doggie playground. While each area is quite small, it is still large enough to create one tired pooch for sure! (Thank goodness.) A water fountain, for humans and their four-legged friends, sits just outside the fenced area. I have always seen "donated" plastic containers inside the fenced area, making it easy to bring water to your dogs, instead of your dogs to the water. Poop clean up stations and lots of human seating complete the list in making this dog park pretty top notch.

The crab cakes were a 4/5 - my husband felt like there was a little too much filler. The remoulade was delicious - and it would have been good to have just a bit more. I had the lamb chops on top of chimichurri sauce, which was a great way to serve because you get to decide how much sauce. The lamb chops could have had the fat trimmed a bit pre and they were slightly overcooked but not enough to send back. Just a note to the kitchen. My 2 sides were loaded Brussels sprouts and they were cooked perfectly. I also had the cowboy corn sauce, which was delicious. My husband had a burger, which was a 5/5. Roll was great and completely prepared to his order. Drinks were delicious - I had the Coco Melon. Nick had beer. We definitely will be coming back.

We first started at the castle looking playground which is Huge with many climbing structures, swing, and a sand box area! And lots of picnic tables around the area which was great for our picnic we packed! Highly recommend

I am infuriated that management does not seem to care about folks that cannot bathe in the sun @…read morethe Franklin location! I understand there was a lawsuit, and the lifeguards have to take up the whole shady area for emergency purposes. But, you could at least accommodate and provide for us otherwise. It's absolutely ridiculous that I see people who are paying good money for membership having to bring their own chair umbrellas, and I'm having to stuff my lounge chair in between two freaking picnic tables that are occupied. Word of advice, I suggest you remedy this situation as quickly as possible and definitely before it opens next year. I would think anybody in their right mind would've already had this well planned out before the pool opened, but it gets worse every time I come. On the other hand, you may have a lot more lawsuits for people getting sun cancer because you can't provide umbrellas for those of us that require it, to take shade. I have never been so disappointed in something in Franklin, Tennessee. You should demonstrate more class and consideration than this mess! And, I've been a resident of Franklin my entire life. I have been a member of this facility for many years, but you have completely failed this year in regards to the pool area. I'm so disappointed in this location! To add, there are many many more people that feel the same way I do. I've been talking to a lot of people. I have a feeling you're gonna lose a lot of memberships from this point forward, unless you change things. If you want to complain to the Director, his name is Gordon Hampton x 2015. One more thing you need to know, "adult swim" is interrupted by all the lifeguards taking break in the deep end to do splashing contests. So, I had to void my plans of quietly floating on my back. The young adults (lifeguards) overtook the entire area, and the older adults had no room to enjoy it. Again, bad management! Horseplay should be done before and after hours, not during public operation. It also gives a bad impression to the little ones, when the older kids act crazy and carelessly in the pool. There are proper times and places for everything!
