Sometimes I might have only gone round to get a paper, but the window display temps me in or the smell of bacon cooking. The local school children use this bakers at lunchtime. The staff are polite and friendly. A nice bakers with a lovely selection of fresh loafs and cakes.

A lovely bakery situated in the middle of this busy village. It offers beautiful bread and cakes…read morebaked on the premises as well as a cake making services for special occasions such as birthdays and weddings. I have enjoyed lovely light lunches in the tea shop which forms part of the bakery. The menu is typical lunch fair with sandwiches and jacket potatoes. Of course you can always purchase one of their cakes for dessert! I would definitely recommend this bakery and suggest you use the Ingatestone Community Centre for parking as the bakery is situated along the bussy high street, with no parking outside that I can recollect.
