Horrible park. Went today. Made for younger kids only. Which I never understood banning preteens and teens from parks. No shade unless you want to be super far away from your (again) YOUNGER children and stand under the shaded picnic benches. Parents were literally hiding under the toys to stay cooled. And when you think you'll get a break by walking the trail....wrong again. There's a small section in the middle that has some shade, but mostly made for the disc golfers (which is fine, but again....sucks for the no shade aspect). Sucks that this man spent so much time and energy on this, for the children to get over heated and parents to be miserable. The only nice looking part of this park was the brand new playground. The grass around it is extremely dry and over grown as well. It stood taller than my 10 year old with tons of weeds. And also find it strange they made this park on a 50 mph road. Just good for thought! read more
