The moment…read moreyou walk in, you are greeted by an outstanding team from the cashiers, landscape architects, and plant specialists to the scheduling and installation staff. Everyone works together to create an exceptional customer experience. In my case, I had the pleasure of working with Mark this year whose art and design background truly shines through. He expertly guided me through the design process, helping personalize my selections to ensure my vision came to life beautifully. His creativity, patience, and knowledge made the process enjoyable and stress-free. Chris, the manager, is always willing to step in and help support your choices and offer guidance especially for picky customers like me who sometimes struggle to make final decisions! His professionalism and customer first attitude never go unnoticed. Lucy, who handles scheduling, is always so friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. She makes coordinating installations easy and seamless. And finally, Salvador, the installer, continues to amaze me with his professionalism, attention to detail, and outstanding final results. Every project looks polished and beautifully executed. I also want to recognize the amazing team that leads the events and workshops including Ashley "Spice Girl", Caroline, and the wonderful red-headed team member (Cortney?)whose name I unfortunately forgot. They always create fun, informative, and engaging events that are well worth attending. It's a fantastic value and such an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. My hats off to the entire Rutgers Nursery team for consistently delivering excellence, professionalism quality plants , creativity, and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend them!

We've gotten a patio with plantings and two shade trees through Rutgers. They are a little more…read moreexpensive than their competitors which we knew, but we loved the whole experience of the design and thought they were very professional. The reason why I wouldn't recommend this company is the quality of their support is subpar. Many of the plantings died within the first year even though they get watered daily. The trees don't grow, whereas trees we bought from other landscaping companies in the area are already taller than our house. The patio has loose pavers and the low voltage lighting doesn't work everywhere. Some lights work, others don't. When I asked about the lights, they said it's a supplier issue from China, however they've installed other patios in our neighborhood with lights. I guess it's only a supplier issue for warranty issues and not new installs. The issue with the loose pavers however is the reason I'm writing this review. When I called to asked them to come out and take a look, they told me they can't take support calls like this over the phone instead I would need to email them. I don't understand how a company that I paid thousands of dollars to for a patio won't talk to me on the phone. I now have to wait days for a reply via email. Ridiculous Also, they are going to reply to this review asking me to call them and speak to management. That's a waste of time as when I call the person on the phone will say "send us an email". Terrible.

I should also add that the owner Rich Mercurio kept to the schedule promised and got it done before our family gathering this weekend. Many who attended commented on how great the landscaping looked. We've been with Green Valley for three years now and have been pleased throughout. Thanks to the team for a job well done!

I tried calling multiple times and received no response. When I finally reached the office, I spoke with a man named Dave who said they were "too busy" and abruptly hung up on me. When I politely asked to speak with someone else in the office or the owner, he raised his voice in an aggressive and rude manner and said he was the owner and snapped, "What do you want, I am the owner of this company?" At that point, I hung up. An entire afternoon wasted, zero accountability, and shockingly disrespectful treatment of a potential customer. If this is how they treat people before earning your business, I can only imagine how they treat paying customers. Very disappointing and completely unprofessional.
