At my request, the bathrooms were done one at a time, but it took them about 10 months to finish both. Many days went by without any work and when a sub finally shows up, they usually didn't finish the job or made mistakes. You're paying Barnes to manage the project for you, but they usually don't bother checking the work in detail. A lot of work had to be fixed or redone which added months of delays. You try to call them (Jim, Charlie, Chris), and they just lie about when they'll finish the job or lie about calling me back. Charlie, the owner, kept blaming the lack of progress on me for breaking the job in two and was rude. At the end of the day, the job got done, but it wasn't a positive experience, and I would look at other companies before hiring this one.

Their commitment to creating a happy and healthy work environment is unusual in our industry but speaks volumes about their long-term commitment to the industry and the community their company serves.
