I've been to too many skateshops to even remember over the last 30 years or so (hell, my first job was at one) and Greenhouse is by far my favorite. It's a family owned and ran (2nd generation) core skateshop that's been around almost 40 years. That should speak for itself. Even better, Dan and Lee are stand up guys who do a lot for the local community too. Don't sleep on their screenprinting services either - great work at even better prices. A+ read more

Great spot! Are you downtown and want to look at some clothes that are not all orange and don't say "HOKIE [WHATEVER]!" on every one them? Good for you! Try the Greenhouse - there are great shoes and skate gear in addition to clothing, the prices are reasonable and the guys who run it are super nice. Basically the chilllllllest spot in town. If your a skater or a townie or even a VT student, they got the goods for you here. Amazing selection and prices with great dudes working the joint. They were H.I.D.F.H.H. with the music too. A Blacksburg MUST VISIT for sure. read more
