Extremely disappointed with this service. The level of satisfaction always depended on who they sent to clean. Staff don't tend to stick around for too long and so they constantly sent someone new for each cleaning. I'm sure there are better cleaning services out there - I wouldn't waste my time or money on this one. / Je suis extrêmement déçue car je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux. I had 3 phone calls with them, first with Maureen, next 2 with Grace. Their business skills are so bad that I never got to hire them. We are moving, so I'm trying to schedule 2 cleanings, one for partway through the month, one for last day. Maureen told me they were too expensive for me so she wouldn't book the last day cleaning...the minimum was 3 hours / $150. Since this is what I expected to pay I was gobsmacked, but she hustled me off the phone before I got my balance. A few days later I called to schedule a 3 hour cleaning for mid-month. I spoke with Grace, & gave her a range of 4 days that they could choose, just pick one and we're done. Grace argued with me about whether 3 hours was all enough, & told me she'd have to talk it over with Maureen & they'd call me back. I was left with the impression that they would decide if they wanted to work for me. Grace was borderline hostile the entire conversation, so much so that I started laughing. Six hours later I called to see what was up. Grace gave me some story about coordinating their one time people, very confusing, which I finally understood to mean that they didn't yet have a cleaner to assign to me. Apparently D-Day was easier to organize than their business. She was clearly offended that I expected a call back on the same day. She actually said that if it mattered to me that I could schedule this, and nail down one issue during my move, I should go somewhere else. Of course I agreed with her. These phone calls were beyond strange. All I wanted to do was hire a cleaning service. They acted like I was bothering them, & seemed to think it was inappropriate that I knew what I wanted & just wanted to know date & time. If their cleaning service is anything like their phone / customer service, stay far away. And by the way, 10 minutes later I had the cleaning scheduled with another service. read more

Green Apple is awesome. I am a mom with an infant who was looking for a cleaning company who uses safe and healthy cleaning products with friendly service. Megan, the owner, came to meet me prior to our first service. I was very impressed by this. She is very honest, trustworthy, fair, and kind. She was great about asking what the priorities are and getting a sense of what they could do to help, etc. We are getting weekly service now and I couldn't be happier. I moved into a new home in Nepean and booked a cleaning of the house and all the carpets with GreenApple (all upstairs, basement and steps/halls). From the agreed price, I expected between $500-$600.00, I was shocked to get a bill of $988.75. I called right away to question the bill and was brushed off saying I had to pay the hourly rate for the cleaners ($455.00) and $420.00 for the carpet cleaning. Then $113.75 tax. As I reviewed my bills at end-year, I noticed they charged me the hourly rate for both cleaners, even though one was cleaning the carpets. When I called to explain their oversight, I was told if I had contacted them sooner, maybe they would have done something. In the same breath, they said the bill was correct. Add on that they did not call me back on the date they said they would (twice!); they showed up a day before the agreed date; and didn't do a very good job (yellow chemicals left in the baths and dirt under most of the furniture etc), if I could rate them lower than one star, I would. I'll give it to these guys - they're serious about cleaning your house. They're also serious about the environment - which I particularly like. Hired them for a one time cleaning of my 3200 square foot home and ended up going with them for monthly cleanings. They visit with you to go over what you expect. That's a nice touch. read more

I've been using Green Apple Cleaning for about 18 months now. I'm very satisfied with their service. Once or twice one of the owners has even showed up unannounced to make sure all is going well. The people are polite, efficient, non-intrusive and seem to enjoy what they do. If I have any concerns (which I don't), I would have no problem talking to the owners about it because they are very approachable. read more
