I am 61 and starting the journey to living a more natural lifestyle, aka drug free as much as possible. These two young ladies gave me all the time I needed, provided positive resources for me as well as gave my insightful information to help me unjumble ALL of the differing approaches out here right now. They openly discussed the possibility of having classes for education, which I wholeheartedly hope they can do and invited me to come in anytime I want to explore me. Thank you very much for making it a very pleasant customer service experience. Kristy Jones

But when I came down with a medical condition and learned there are vitamins that may cure it, I wasn't going to Wal-Mart and hope that I find the right ones and that the quality is good. My health isn't worth saving a couple dollars. So I went to the Vitamin Shop. I walked in and was warmly greeted by Mike, the Assistant Manager. I was hoping he'd be super knowledgeable about the product he sells, and not just a sales clerk. I told him what condition I had and how I developed it, and he knew just what I needed and rushed to that location in the store. (Side note, there looked to be tens of thousands of bottles on the shelves; I wouldn't know where to start!) Mike didn't try to sell me the most expensive product, but rather pointed to and picked up several that he believed are the best and explained the difference in each. He thoroughly understood my condition and told me the pros and cons of each bottle. I felt his care and concern for my well being was the most important thing to him, and I appreciate that so much. I felt like he was thinking, "If my wife had that condition, this is what I'd bring home for her to take." I cannot say enough good things about Mike and his quality care and expert knowledge. I don't like being pressured, but they do it in a kind way and always disguise it as saving you money. Since everyone does it the same way, I'm guessing it is a GNC-wide training thing. Hey, I don't blame 'em. If you can look past that and not get suckered, this is a solid place to stock up on your vitamins. I take GNC fish oil and Mega Man vitamin packs daily and they both work well.
