Cassie Lee Photography is a rare gem in this very crowded industry. The work she does is incredible. I have hired Cassie for numerous shoots for my wife and I and have been so pleased with her style of shooting as well as her detailed editing. I had to recommend her for my gym buddy for his engagement shoot, but when he told me he was taking a boat out to Catalina island to propose and would need the photographer to be out there before, I was sure there was no way Cassie would have the time, nor want to make the effort to get out there. Who would, right? Boy was I wrong, as Cassie met with my friend, consulted numerous times over the phone to get the details just right, and was out to Catalina island hours before my friend and his girlfriend got out to the proposal spot. Not to mention, the photos turned out great, especially with Cassie having to lug all of her equipment to a very remote part of the island. Needless to say, Cassie Lee Photography is the type of professional you want taking your most important photos. You won't be disappointed!

When the Beach Village Concierge at the Del referred us to Amy, and I looked at her portfolio. What…read morecaught my eye and initially impressed me was her unique use of natural light...I especially loved the photos she takes with the human reflections in the water. Our photo session was created to honor an incredible milestone - my Mom's 80th birthday. After my parents flew in from Dallas, we surprised her with an entire weekend of celebrations. Having these precious moments professionally captured was the perfect finale to our special time together. The photographs preserve not just images, but the joy and love we shared during this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, ensuring these cherished memories will live on for generations to come. When planning this family photo session, I had a vision for photos that would serve dual purposes - a Christmas card for our big family, but also a Christmas card for my Brother, Sis in Law and Luke and Rowan (my nephews). It was a "Gift to the entire family" as I saw it. I also envisioned my parents and family members turning the photos into a "statement piece" for our home (or my parents). The first thing that struck me with Amy was how easy it was to talk to her and how empathetic and personable she is. Additionally, Amy asks copious questions prior to the shoot...And these are VERY DETAILED questions. They ask things such as "What is your (childs) favorite color?" or "What gets them excited?" or "What are they into?" -- This all helps with the shoot and she comes prepared. Further, she asks questions about every family member. She asks every family member's name, relationship, "Gotchas", where they are from, etc. This shows and defines amy as showing genuine interest and empathy in her clients. It shows she cares. Implicitly. When she arrives, she calls everyone by name. She references familial relationships. She speaks with kindness. She is focused on keeping things moving and getting the best shot, but also very engaged in ensuring she connects with her audience. She makes sure everyone is being called by their name, that she captivates their attention, and is empathetic to someone in the group that might be having trouble. I highly recommend Amy for ANY shoot - she's a ROCKSTAR!!

After the ease of setting up day, time, and place, deposit and contract were sent. Everything was done electronically, making it convenient. The day of the session went well despite a little wind making hair placement difficult. Other than that, she arrived on time and accommodated our change of location requests. My only complaint is that she didn't take as many candid or playful shots of the kids or family as I expected. I also felt like we didn't get as much direction as to how to pose. She did advise us in what order to stand. I would have maybe liked a few seated poses as well. Overall, she was friendly and professional. She even took some photos with my old polaroid camera per my request. The finished work arrived quickly via a link through email with direction on how to download and select favorites. The images are beautiful and the turn out with final editing was fast, approximately 2 to 3 days. I am pleased with how everything went and how it turned out. Best money I have ever spent!…read more Jake and Christina are truly talented photographers/videographers. I hired them to capture the memories on my wedding day. Planning a wedding during COVID was no joke. Our plans changed a few times. Christina and Jake were so helpful, flexible, and understanding. They arrived to the venue early and took many beautiful scenery shots. They captured cute photos of our "getting ready". And they helped organize my husband and myself for first looks and other family photos. (I did not have a wedding planner, so the fact that they took initiative meant so much)! Every single one of my pictures were perfectly timed, breathtakingly clear/crisp, and projected a sense of beauty and calm in the midst of what felt like a semi-chaotic and nervy day. Now for my favorite part....The short video of the wedding. Everyone who has watched it has been brought to tears. I still tear up every time I see it! We have gotten sooooo many compliments on how well it turned out. The perfect combination of footage, voice overs, music, etc. I don't know how they did it, but the video is beyond anything I could have ever hoped for. Aside from the amazing photos and videos, Jake and Jerry were so incredible day-of! They were confident, flexible, and communicative. Overall, I could not recommend Gleimlight enough!! If you're considering booking them, this is your confirmation to just do it!!
