Respect to the Russian guy who grills the meat. He is also head id security, always scanning the line to see who is in his restaurant. He grills the meat as if he is on a mission to serve his country and make his family proud. This establishment is the worst place and dirtiest and expensive I have ever been to. I went there for lunch. two boxes 35+$. I went to go stand by the door and watch them cook. The cook took off his gloves leaving them inside out with the gloves he used them as a rag and rubbed the silver container, the white board in front of him and he actually picked up the spatula and wiped it down with his gloves. Those gloves have skin cells. Don't these people take hygiene classes? Then the girl that charged us was in the food section without washing her hands and there were about 8 boxes open with food and her and the other guy were talking and laughing over all the food. Then one guy opens up a bottle of water and starts drinking it over the food. None of them wear masks nor gloves. Disgusting! I told the owner as he is cooking too and he said...okay. Our food was cold, the chicken was hard, and of course I got sick. read more

This was the original location before they opened a higher-end restaurant by a similar name at the Downey promenade. This parent restaurant offers a smaller venue but it gives the vibe of a more 'mom and pop' location. The food is delicious and every time I visit, I always make sure to leave with extra for the next day. read more

Food Review: We had this catered to our office and it was delicious! The chicken kabob was tender and juicy as well as the beef kabob...I usually don't get beef because some places overcook the meat and it becomes very tough to eat, but this was probably the best beef kabob I've had at a mediterranean spot!! Highly recommend! Service Review: I can't say much for service, but their take out service was phenomenal. They provided more than enough utensils and napkins. We ordered filet minon and chicken kebab plates for pick up. We got wraps instead. Called them on the mistake and they said they would remake it. They gave it cold so we had to wait again. No apology was given for the inconvenience. Look at your pick up orders before leaving. read more

Food was fresh, service was fast and the ambience was great. My only complaint was the price my total for this was $29.87 with a Perrier. It's an upgrade from rice to salad. I typically visit their Long Beach Location but was told this location was the best so I tried it. Food looked and tasted fresh but their chicken is dry. ( chicken kabob) I've also become accommodated to chili paste on the side at the LB location so I hoped for the same here but apparently this store doesn't carry it. Or any spicy sauce for that matter. My biggest turn off is they up-charge you $2 for using your card yet don't have a sign warning you of the added charge. Nor does the cashiers give you a heads up. Only way I know is because I read my receipts. I personally find that to be sneaky. The establishment looked clean the 3 times I've visited. They have outdoor & outdoor seating and the staff is satisfactory. Overall a decent place to eat. read more

I like chicken, I like steak, makes my tummy feel so great. When I'm done make no mistake, I poop for hours in a lake! I wrote this song for this awesome place. It took me 3 weeks to write so I could get it perfect. I was even going to put it on a shirt to sell on etsy. But I changed my mind after a couple minutes. Used to love this place, but admittedly hadn't been here in awhile. Well, time hasn't done it any favors, because there's a definite decline in food quality. The folks who operate this place are terrific, as are all the employees. It's easy to order by phone, and food is always ready in a timely manner. (No service-related issues whatsoever.) Food is still reasonably good, just not as good as before. A case in-point; my lamb kebab was tough and chewy. Best kebab I had in this area so far. Only tried togo a few times but portions were very generous and meats were very well cooked and very tender. I usually place phone order before going to pick up the food and they were usually ready by the pick up time they provided. I was craving some good Mediterranean food today. I checked the reviews first. Some good, Some bad. But I gave it a try because there isn't many options anyway. Got to get experience right? Lol I'll make it quick. It's a definite yes from me! Going to recommend friends and family. Quality meats. The beef kabob was proper! Omg! I ordered it well done. Nice cuts. Nothing cheap. Worth every cent! I also got the Kafta wrap. I've never had that before and I'm so glad I did. I'm also glad I tried it from here. My potatoes were good. Soft yet crunchy and flavorful. Veggies were crisp and fresh as if they cut them just for me lol I always rate on service and this place gets five stars because of the polite young lady that took my order. I didn't get her name. The kibbeh was either uncooked fully or something. I order from other green olives and am obsessed with them but this one was not edible. They were like 60% oil just dripping. Fresh flavorful food! I have only ordered their chicken wrap, chicken kabob and filet mignon plate. Sometimes they overcook the chicken and gets a little dry. Very quick service and decent prices for fresh food. Only complaint about this place, that's if you like their sauces, they only give you one small cup per sauce and have to pay additional for extra. read more

Place is a shell of what it used to be. Every time I come I say it's the last but I come back because there are so few healthy food options nearby. Today I ordered dine in. Party of two. It took 48 minutes to get our food. Gyro meat was very dry. Portions are way smaller now. They use single use containers for dine in too now. So much waste. My salad was 6 leaves of lettuce and a sliver of tomato. They didn't give me true yogurt dip so I had to ask for it. Outdoor chairs are very uncomfortable, especially after sitting in them for over an hour. Only thing I could say I liked today was the chicken kabob and rice. read more

WOWOWWOWOW!!! This place is kind of unexpectedly good. I had the filet mignon and chicken plate and every bite was delicious. I ordered the filet mignon medium and it was a great texture and flavor. The chicken had a tiny kick and a bit of a lime flavor. 10/10 place! We also ordered one meat pastry. I cannot remember the name of it. It was dry but I personally loved it! I love it here. The food is good, it's always busy with a long line, but worth the wait. The servers are nice and the cashiers are helpful too. I usually get the falafel wrap and my mom gets the platter. We both love coming here and the prices are not too bad! I wish the wrap came with some rice, but it's ok! The service was quick and the restaurant had a steady flow of customers and people picking up to go orders , so that is always a plus . We enjoyed our food in the outside patio area . Only reason for the 4 stars is the patio area needed to be cleaned or attended to . We had to bus our own table, but it wasn't a huge deal . Every once in a great while, you find a restaurant that takes you by surprise! One that awakens your tastebuds! Tastebuds that have become a bit complacent with the mundane, in a sea of eateries. The moment I took the first bite of chicken in my Greek salad, I was blown away with the great flavor. What can I say, the salad was what you always want out of a salad but don't ever get. It was just amazing. Full of flavor and piled high. They definitely don't skimp on the food here. They do have an extensive menu full of all the Mediterranean favorites and I can't wait to go back and try them all BUT go and try the salad and you'll be thanking me later. Enjoy! read more
