I called Green Locksmith. Guy came. He quoted me $150.00 to pick lock. I swallowed hard. Then he said "lock is broken. You need a new doorknob. I can't pick this one." B.S!!! It's not broken!!! Called 3 times to get a car key replacement and never got a call back. I'm stuck at a rural place and there was no technician available for that area, and, guess what? No call to let me know. We had lost the keys to my Chevy Traverse and Eli was helpful with getting them replaced even though my is out of commission for transmission problems he was able to access the computer and get the keys made. The man was efficient but I had asked for a quote on the phone and he said he couldn't give the quote until he saw the car. It was a simple key programming job, took less than 5 min, then he charged $200. That's double what I was expecting would be the upper limit on cost. He should have quoted before he did the work and had my key. It was an expensive lesson to learn, don't hand over the key without a quote. read more

Green Locksmith services: fast to respond, professional, and honest. When the key would not turn the ignition switch, I thought I was going to have to call a tow truck and take it to a garage to put a new switch in. I called Green Locksmith - he was at my house within an hour and before we went down the expensive route of new ignition switch- he wanted to test the key. He cut a new cheap key according to the make/model and secret code and this worked to start the car!!!- WHEW- this saved me a ton of money!! What great things can I say about Green Locksmith Services ? They are amazingly courteous, fast, reasonable and very professional. The quality of their work is second to none. They were very busy and we were actually able to make a same day appointment with me , after the closing on our new house. They totally changed out, 8 locks to the house. Amazing people.
