Worst landscape company I've ever seen. Horrible work. Stay away from this company. He wrecked my grass, wrecked my sprinklers, planted flowers that all died and he never took care of them, he built a built-in grill in my pergola that burned down because he didn't use a grill insulator and he built the grill on wood. This is my 2nd project with Andres in which we had a paver driveway and fire pit area installed. I absolutely love the results! What a shame! I'm a property developer. I remodel around 15 homes per year. This is my second time purchasing 5 pallets from green land design inc. first experience was great. This time... a total 180 change... the five pallets were delivered yesterday pm and installation started this morning. all pallets were short, and the quality of four was bad... but my landscaper made it work (Their feedback was that it looked like they were left overs from other pallets as they were totally inconsistent working the same pallet.) The REAL ISSUE was the 5th pallet was totally unusable. My landscapers (who have been landscaping for over 20yrs) messages me with pictures saying they could make the other four work but this pallet was completely unusable. I called the owner right away and sent him the pictures of the unusable sod. I asked him to please pick up the pallet of unusable sod and replace it with a usable pallet. He told me that "none of his products are guaranteed and I would have to deal with it! And "maybe my landscapers don't know what they are doing". I explained to him it's the same landscapers that installed his sod on the other home without a problem and that they are working with the four pallets- but one is totally unusable.... I'm not asking fir my money back- just to get what I paid for: 5 pallets of usable sod. Before he hung up on me he told me he "doesn't have time for this". I texted him to ask him to pls pick up the unusable sod. He just replied "no" Now I will need to pay my landscapers to find another pallet, pay them for another day of labor, I will need to pay a removal company to pick up the pallet of unusable sod. Such a shame. Such terrible customer service and so unreasonable that he should be comfortable selling unusable product that is not fit for purpose. I will be making a claim on my credit card.... but I shake my head... all I wanted was fir the unusable product to be replaced with usable product that I have already paid for. read more

I was set to have an appointment with him on Monday at 5:00 at 5:06 he said he cannot make it and if I arranged an appointment anytime any day after he'll make sure he'll show up. I made an appointment the next day at 5:30. He confirmed and never showed up or called. I called so many times. Just like so many others said. Inconsistent. read more

Andres assured me that he goes anywhre for work, so after texting back & forth he said he wud come to look @ my job on Sat & whn he didn show i txtd and asked was he still coming. He said that the job he was working on got delayed because of the rain & the customer wanted him to finish. He promised me that he wud come any day that i wanted. We agreed on Tuesday. I texted him Monday to confirm and no response. Tuesday came and went and again no response. I don't think anyone wants to rely on a business that treats potential clients like they r not important. Andres just completed a major backyard cleanup for me that involved removal of truck loads of plants and a a half dozen trees. He completed everything we agreed to, going above and beyond for the tree clean up and rock removal. The pricing for the project was reasonable giving the scope of the work. He also cleaned up dead limbs on 6 trees. For all except the largest of the trees, his crew removed the stumps. His crew was very efficient and thorough. In addition to the plant removal they removed all of the accumulated leaves and dead vegetation making the yard ready for grass. Over the years I had accumulated two large piles of lime rock from various holes dug for planting. Andres removed those piles as part of his clean up. Finally he planted a new hedge row to screen my fence at a very reasonable price. I am already discussing additional projects with Andres to transform my jungle into a lower maintenance yard. read more

On February 25, 2020, I gave Green Land Design $2,000 as a deposit to redesign my front and back yard. The following week he came out and did the work and I paid the balance of $3,000. He never said how many plants... I trusted he would do a good job. He said he would pick up the old plastic and replace with thicker plastic, which he didn't do. Now I have weeds growing all over the front, back, and sides of my house. He planted Mexican heather and ground orchids. Most of them died within 5-6 weeks. I had ground cover planted in the back and as soon as he did I said "they are loaded with weeds". Andres said "no don't worry they are from the farm they will die". Well now they have completely taken over. I called him after a month and he said I should hire a gardener to pull the weeds. I am out there every week, but they are so infested I cannot keep up. He came back after 2 MONTHS, looked at everything and said he would be back to take care of it. He still has not come back! I call every few weeks and he always had an excuse just to give him a few more weeks. Then he said he was sick. After three weeks I called again and he said he would come on Monday, August 17, 2020. After another week I finally gave up and realized he is not going to. He asked me to go on Yelp and give him a good review when I paid him. I'm glad I didn't because he does not back up his work. I threw away $5,000. DO NOT USE GREEN LAND DESIGN. Total rip off. read more
