Being from California I have been to my share of dispensaries... California is known for its weed, so I come in with my nose in the air (mostly because it smells nice). Let me tell you, I have never been treated with bigger smiles in my life. Most people in dispensaries are happy but, at the end if the day it is a business. They made me feel like I was someone they haven't seen in awhile. I was met with very friendly "HEY!" And just smiles everywhere! It was such a welcoming experience. If I had questions, they had answers. I love going to these pop shops because the people that sell the product are the people that grow the product. They know exactly what in it and don't have to read some paper a corporation gave them. They're not working for a paycheck, they're working because they love what they do, and it showed. I think I spoke to Jordan and he was a nice guy. I told him about my parents and some of the pain they go through and my football college football days... He has suggested some oils that could help. My parents have a stigma against weed, so they were a little more accepting of the oils. Watching my mother walk around with little to no pain in her knees and back was priceless to me, and we didn't have to take her to some expensive doctor who prescribes expensive pills she may get addicted to. Honestly, I couldn't have had a better all around experience. I took some edibles for later and I bounced. This place is amazing. I've been going there for about two years now and I've never once left Green Island unhappy or unsatisfied. I've been smoking marijuana for 30 years give or take. I've been to Amsterdam for 2 weeks and sampled the finest they have to offer. I'll just say this. Green Island knows what's up. I'm mostly into concentrates now and I love Green Islands stuff. Big clear diamonds that are very strong. The limes, lemons, strawberry, and Mumbles are the best tasting dabs anywhere. I've always found the staff to be knowledgeable and very friendly. The owners are top notch. They listen to what people say and put a lot of time and love into the products and it shows. I tell people Jordan is like a weed scientist. I have recommended a few people to go check them out and Green Island quickly turned into their go to spot. It's about an hour away for me and I pass 3 other shops to get to the best place around. There are SO many dispensaries not just in this state but within 30mins of Green Island there's a dozen. The difference with this business is, they care about their patients needs and wants. Eidables in this area are So hit or miss. Acadia Dispensary in Bangor lies about their THC conentent flat out and I suggest never getting eidables from them. The eidbels that Green Island provides are accurately dosed and you are not going to find a better price from their 50mg lollipops to their packaged slushie mix. This store is also extremely clean and sanitary compared to others which is crucial in this day and age. You shouldn't settle for less than that.
