However what I can say is our experience is very similar and equally as bad as a lot of the other reviews. A lot of the previous negative reviews have vanished, however I did manage to get screen prints of them all before they strangely disappeared. You obviously have to do your own research and decide yourself if you want to use this company, but for us, the whole experience with this company and the MD Peter Luke Morris, has caused us nothing but UPSET, EXTREME STRESS AND WORRY, BOTH MENTALLY AND FINANCIALLY. I will definitely update with more info as and when I can, but at the moment I have to do the right thing and let our case be dealt with through the proper legal channels.

If you want to pay £35k for a product which 14 months later has still not been delivered and have to deal with the worst customer service, except when they want the deposit and first payment for production of the product to begin then Lanai are the ones for you. We have been dealing with Lanai since the 25 Jan 2017 and it is now March 2018 and still had nothing delivered despite constant chasing. We were never kept in the loop about apparent issues with the glass suppliers which suddenly seemed to arise when talking of legal action. Oh and they will delete this post like they did previously so they can take someone else's money and not deliver. They promised to refund my money but as with many of the other FAILED promises they did not send out the cheques. I have now instructed my solicitors to proceed further. Also an extremely agressive one when questioned and challenged. Even to the point of threatening me with legal action when he was in the wrong - amazing. i am not scared of such cowards, so i didn't back down but many people would be scared. the guys on site couldn't measure straight, brickwork was wonky, foundations were't dug correctly so a main steel holding half the house missed the pad (thankfully i noticed and it was corrected), lintels were missing padstones, roofs were built incorrectly, structural stud was not done properly and used cheap wood instead, the house was not covered so water got in the whole house and we had to completely replaster the whole house. it was amazing they actually got anything built as there were never up to date plans on site either. Thankfully i was in rented accommodation round the corner so was there everyday making sure it was being built to plan some weeks nothing happened By the time the project was about 30% done i had invoices for about 80% of the work.... Also one of my neighbours commented on the strange smell while contractors were smoking...... Dishonest isn't a strong enough word - there were many attempts to change stuff specified in the drawings for cheaper alternatives and when questioned i was told they hadn't priced for it (in a very agressive way). If you google vision, what comes up is below and pretty much sums it up. i think the positive reviews are all fake, as the reviews for Vision are either 1 star or 5 stars. Avoid at all costs. AVOID THIS COMPANEY! UNFAIR CONTRACT, DEMANDING UPFRONT PAYMENTS, DELAYED AND SUBSTANDARD WORK,…read moreDECEITFUL MD Please AVOID this company! I fell into their "trap" unfortunately. It all started well with the Managing Director of Vision group Cambridge promises quality of work, good communication, and excellent customer service etc. after tender for the job. On the same day, the Managing Director kept following up with possible dates to start the works if we would pay the deposit and sign the contract. I paid the deposit of 15% (fifteen time above the standard construction contract deposit) and signed the contract of 6 months to secure a specific date. The week before the works were supposed to start, the Managing Director and his team came onsite for a pre-project meeting, promised to produce a program of works to be available online via BuiderTrend and followed by photos and videos of any works been done, I was impressed. On the day of starting, there is no phone call, no email, no workers, no program of works, no access to the website, nothing had happened, same for the second day, the third... the whole week. I called and emailed, I was told that due to unavailable skips, the staring date had to be changed and delayed ... great start! It all went downhill from there. There was a complete lack of progress and commitment in works, no planning, no communication, ignored all concerns raised by myself, the architect and the building inspector, but aggressively demanding payments by intimidation and harassment. The project manager rarely onsite and the workers are in experienced or only apprentice level, anything done either wrong or substandard. After 6 months at the end of contract, TPO trees are not protected, site without secure fencing, rubbish all piled up in the front garden, under grand drainage pipes are mobile, block and beams were without DPC, floor level is not the same to the existing house, existing fixture and fittings were disposed without agreement, material and design changed without agreement, extra payments were demanded while subcontractor had reduced price, subcontractors were unpaid... Despite invest several hours each day of my own time, plus employ a project supervisor, after paying 50% the total project value, only the foundation has passed building inspection. When asked the company to rectify the work failed building inspection, they abandoned my project and disappeared. This company does not have the ability, capacity and integrity to do any construction work, 3 of their customers in the neighbourhood are experiencing similar nightmares, and my surveyor already delt 4 similar cases with this company, the managing director is a serial scammer and pathological liar.
