We would occasionally visit here and look around, since we'd recently moved here. Soon after, my husband had a massive stroke to where he could move the end of only one finger about 2 cm , the rest of his body totally paralyzed. After weeks of rehab. and shakily ambulatory, we went to Green Dragonfly to see if Dorothy (owner) might have a walker. Not only did she have a walker, but she refused to let us pay for it, plus gave us other medical devices, still refusing us to pay. She only said, if he finds in the future that he doesn't need them, just bring them back, but keep them for the duration. I could not believe how very kind she was, and encouraging. Her caring kindness, by itself, helped my husband's healing swifter. I walked down to the store two times today. The first time it was not open, even though it was after 12:00. When I returned a couple hours later, it was open. I needed several items to restock our family place. Unfortunately, the owner/sales clerk was extremely rude to me three different times. I found several items I wanted to purchase, but she said they "weren't ready yet". I left empty-handed after being chastised for the third time. VERY rude and unnecessary behavior toward the customers, even toward the sweet, polite man who offered to lift a box. The store lost $75 minimum with their rude behavior.
