We decided to finally stop by for a Friday night game on our way for a weekend in Door County. Fun time and the USHL is quite competitive. Not the AHL nor the ECHL level, but hard fought and entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed the Gamblers 5-3 win over the Chicago Steel! 12/9/22 Went to a game this evening. Green Bay isn't all about the Packers(although it kinda is). There is an unknown sport so it seems- it's called HOCKET! Green Bay is home to the Gamblers. I lived in MN for 25 years. Tickets are in-expensive(last I checked Packer tickets are not! Lol). The organization does a great job and the folks at the Resch Center do a great job. They have special events, like in 2023 for St Patrick's Dau if u are. A student u grr we r a free t-shirt. They have beer specials if that is your thing for $2. They have fun things happening during the game. Since the Packers can't se to sun, hey soon football will be over. Why not get out of the house and check out a game? It is very inexpensive for the family to get out of the house or the younger group. They do occasional afternoon games on Sundays. I always enjoy going to a Green Bay Gamblers game. Who doesn't like hockey for the fights though?! That's why I always like to go. My first GB Gamblers game was over a Thanksgiving weekend I went home to visit family. The arena is pretty big, but watch out for flying pucks! read more

When living in Green Bay, it's pretty easy to get overshadowed by the Green Bay Packers, especially other sport teams. Gamblers Hockey is truly one of my favorite sports teams. Sure it's not the NHL, but it's young, up and coming players that play at a fairly high and face pace level with big hits! It helps to that the team has been pretty good the last few years. They truly cater to different groups of people as it's fun for the families or getting together with some buddies for a birthday or bachelor party. The Bud Light Party Pit is fun as you get free beer (unfortunately Bud Light), food, and your up and close to the action. There's always a special promotion/event at each game like Princess night, Teddy Bear toss and Weiner Dog Race. They give away free stuff all the time during time outs from the Ice Girls and other fun games. It's very cool that they always honor a military veteran at the game. Hockey is a fun sport, but the Gamblers organization has found ways to make the whole experience truly fun and enjoyable. read more
