Because of this, the grass has completely died everywhere the soil isn't actively shaded by my cherry tree. I even tried to fix it myself by applying more topsoil and reseeding, but it was to no avail because the topsoil is just too shallow underneath. What makes this incredibly frustrating is that while Mickey was laying the original topsoil and seed, I explicitly asked him if there was enough depth for healthy grass growth. He assured me there was. So I currently have a 12ft patch of grass dead and I fear when I cut my diseased cherry tree down that is currently providing the shade that dry patch will grow longer. Now that that section of my lawn is ruined, he has completely ghosted me. I have left him multiple messages and have received zero response. Be very careful hiring Mickey. He does not dig to the proper depth, gives false assurances about his work, and will not return your messages if his installation fails. I would not recommend his services. `
