Grecian corner is my favorite greek place I have found in Seattle. I'm pretty simple on my orders there (lamb gyro), but it's high quality and tasty. I'm not a huge fan of the fries in my gyro, but it's really not a turn off with the over all quality being so good. I normally get a side of fries anyways, and my girlfriend enjoys the same meal with a salad instead. Hours are sometimes funny, so make sure you check. I can't tell you how many times I'm near the needle and think to go get a gyro only to find they are closed. Definately worth giving them a go though. read more

I've had their falafel pita and their rack of lamb pita and both never disappoint. The people who run this place are always friendly and the place is clean/inviting. I wouldn't hesitate on stopping by for dinner or lunch as I have never been let down. read more

Stumbled into this place on my way to Subway for a quick dinner. The service was fast and great. They were extremely friendly and went above what you would expect. It had a pretty cool atmosphere with some greek decor and artwork scattered throughout. I ordered the gyro and fry combo and while I'm no gyro expert, I really enjoyed it. It had a good amount of meat and the sauce wasn't overpowering. Overall a really good flavor. On top of the food and service, you get a pretty good up close view of the Needle. This place fucking sucks. I will never try it again. Ever. I should have known because it was lunch time on Saturday and it was dead. But it still took forever to get our food and then the fries (waffle) were cold. No one there cares, and it's way over priced. Too much cumin in the falafel in my opinion. read more

But I feel like each time I eat here the quality of the burger depends on a coin flip. The Eggplant pita was good. Greek salad that came with it was disappointing. What really pissed us off was that the 4 of us ordered and it cost $66 . The lady at the register charged us 18% service fee on top off the tax after we told her we were from out of town. Shame on you for taking advantage of out of towners. Location is excellent since you can have a view of the space needle from the restaurant! The food was just ok. We ordered falafel pitas - one with salad and one with waffle fries. The falafel were not that great and the fries were bland. We also ordered hummus which had a bit too much garlic. It took a little longer than expected for everything to come but it all tasted great and we loved the homemade dressing for the salad. Went there for lunch during the week. The place was clean but small and limited seating. It took awhile to get our food, which was surprising considering they were not busy. The food was pretty good, but the lamb was a little dry. I didn't notice until after I paid but she charged me a dollar more per item than what was listed on the board above her head. So heres what you need to know about this place. The gyro is served somewhat cold. The meat and pita should be warmer. Because their POS malfunctions your order may get delayed. You also want to make sure the chicken is cooked all the way through. If you order more sauce it will cost you another $1. Not the friendliest place you'll visit. Tuesday evening at 7:30 found us the only patrons. The food was excellent, fairly priced, and the hospitality was great. I love Greek food, at least what we think it is. This place needs to work more. We went there for dinner and chicken lemon soup (on menu) was not available and lentil soup was way-way salty. They took it back, but we did not have soup for dinner (not good in our books). Gyros were decent, and lamb chops tasted good, but amount of meat was on small side. This place is delicious! I've had the Chicken Souvlaki wrap as well as the lamb gyro. The meat for both has been tender and tasty every time. They do put fries in their wrap which for me was... new! It works though, I like it. All the wraps come with a side, either a generous helping of fries or a Greek salad. Downside is they close early. Only reason they lose a star in my book. read more

Its always nice to have somewhere quick and close for lunch in this part of Seattle. The owners of this business are very friendly and make quick lunch dining easy. I am always treated well in this establishment and I give them lots of business and you can tell they are always thankful for it. The Gyros, salads, and cheeseburgers are really well done and the waffle fries are great. I've never had an unpleasant meal here and I visit frequently. Definitely give them a chance. I love this place! The food is FANTASTIC, the staff is great and the price is right. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu ... my favorites are the calamari and the caesar salad with chicken but I understand they make a killer burger also. The other day I had the keftedes with salad and would definitely recommend it and will order it again. Life is easier when you stereotype things. So here are some stereotypes for you: God made the Irish funny, the German stubborn and the Greeks excellent cooks. It's true. And don't start in with how good the French are at preparing cuisine. They're great at getting their butts kicked in world wars, but the food is overrated as can be. For the best European taste sensations, we must visit Athens. Regrettably, Athens is far and I hate to fly. So instead, I strongly recommend - no, insist - that you visit Grecian Corner in Belltown. It's snuggly nestled in the courtyard area of Fisher Plaza, just next to the frou-frou coffee shop. While being unfortunately saddled with a terrible name that reminds one of a certain hair-coloring formula for men, it does boast some fine Greek food. Obviously the gyros and souvlaki are excellent - it wouldn't be a solid Greek effort if that weren't the case. But the real stand-out here is the Greek burger. It's a nice-sized burger on some kind of ciabatta bun. But the seasoning and feta cheese make this like no other burger you've ever had. It's still burger-y enough to not weird you out, but different and strange enough to make you realize that you might enjoy the wilder side of life. Like the time you made out with your college roommate. Personally, I love feta, and would probably eat it on pancakes. So when it's melting on a nice juicy burger that's seasoned with what I can only guess is saffron and melange, it's good enough to fold the very fabric of time and space itself. The spice must flow, young Atreides. Additionally, Grecian Corner serves home fries instead of regular old, craptastic thin cut french fries. Again, the Greeks are just pwning the hell out of the French right and left in this joint. They're nice thin slices of potato, seasoned with god knows what. But it's pungent and yet smooth, just like a ride on a Seattle Metro bus. The cafe itself is nothing fancy, but the prices are baby bird right. And by that I mean cheap, cheap, cheap. If someone ever asks you to go to Sport, just remember that place could suck a golf ball through a garden hose. Do yourself a favor and walk across the courtyard to the Grecian Corner. read more

Well I guess I had to go all the way to Seattle to find good Greek food! I was there for a few days for work and I came across this place after I went to the Space Needle. I ordered the falaffel wrap, which came w/tomato, onion, and tzaziki. The tzaziki was actually really good! I also enjoyed the dressing on the salad. I wanted to try the galaktoboureko, but I did take out and didn't want to have a big sticky thing w/me. Maybe next time. If you're in the area, go check it out. read more

The food was decent but the service was not the best. The server seemed a bit angry and while she wasn't mean she didn't make eye contact and her answers were pretty short and impatient. Just moved into the neighborhood and wanted a quick lunch. I asked the lady at the counter what was good and she recommended the regular gyro. I got that with fries and a side greek salad. The gyro was delicious! The meat was tender and full of flavor. The pita was warm and a little crisp around the edges. The tzaziki sauce was creamy and cucumbery as it should be.. not too much garlic and you can tell they strained the yogurt first. The fries (the round kind) were crispy and well salted (pretty standard stuff, but ppl still manage to mess fries up all the time). The greek salad was a bit of a disappointment. One olive and just two little slices of cucumber isn't much of a greek salad to me. There was plenty of feta and the dressing was tasty (if a little heavy on the oil). For the price, this place serves good portions. They're quick if ya just wanna grab something to go. Service is efficient. read more
