I had a very disappointing experience. I booked a 3-person move for what was supposed to be a…read more2-hour job, and I was quoted under $400 total, including travel and labor. I confirmed this multiple times before booking--at least three times--and verified the price again the day I paid the deposit. I was also very clear about the scope of work: I would be providing all packing materials, I already had boxes and containers pre-packed, and I needed furniture moved downstairs and loaded onto the truck. Everything was discussed upfront. However, when the movers arrived, I was presented with a bill of over $700 and told the job would take 7 hours. They also added new restrictions that were never disclosed beforehand, such as only moving items already in containers. Because this was completely different from what was agreed to, I canceled the service. I had paid a $100 deposit, and they only refunded $28--keeping $72 despite not performing any work. Based on this experience, this felt like a bait-and-switch situation, and it put me in a very difficult position on moving day. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and confirming all terms upfront before booking.

I would certainly rehire them in the future. When chatting over the phone, it seemed the job would cost a little less than ended up costing. However, as I already wrote, they earned their money. The initial estimate was a little bit too low.

So they climbed on top of my glass top washer that was brand new and broke the top. They then threw my bike on top of my brand new dining room table and scratched the legs up bad. I asked them to wrap all my furniture and they told me they didn't need to wrap my outdoor table because it was iron, and sure enough it was scratched horribly. Money in the drain. That's for ruining my stuff. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't.

They do use other payment methods where they have carbon copy slips and authorizations on cards, so if you want a speedier payment method I would suggest having cash on hand, but that is my preference.

I needed help due to huricaine Harvey and I evacuated to WA. Long story short Upack was my mover and they are AWESOME. They gave me a great price that during move actually got cheaper not inflated. Please do not pay attention to these bad reviews and go to Google's reviews on Upack. I will refer them to my friends and family and use them again if needed. Y'all these guys left corpus at 3am to get to where we were and didn't stop till everything was unloaded (nearly 9pm!!) I CAN NOT recommend these guys any more or any louder. 0/10 do not recommend. Had a move planed: 2 men and a truck…read moreto meet at a PODs facility Corpus Cristi, load up my pod into their truck, and take it to a storage unit up in Rockport. The appointment was made for 10am but the morning of the drivers called and asked for an earlier time of around 8. This was not possible but I told them I could be there earlier and we agreed to 0945 meet at the PODs facility. At 1000 the driver called and said he would be 18 minutes late. The driver called again at 1020 and said he couldn't find the place. I then called in the main like to talk to the manager. The manager said the truck was having trouble with the address of the PODs facility. I told him the address again and the manager started accusing me of supplying a completely different address. I told him no, I of course gave him the correct address. He then started yelling at me stating I did not give him the correct address. We argued back in forth, him shouting no I gave the wrong address, and me calmly stating yes I did. He held his ground but why would I give a wrong address? I need my stuff moved. He then said his truck was across the ferry in Aransas Pass. There is not a PODs facility in Aransas Pass and the address' given were in Corpus Cristi and Rockport. He said the truck spent too much time driving around already and we should just cancel your move. Complete unprofessionalism, and lack of competence, and to actually yell at a customer accusing them of lying, repeatedly. I had to deal with substantial predicaments due to not having my things moved. 0/10
