    Hunan chicken

We had a nice surprise yesterday when we went to the Great Wall this past Saturday. I ordered the Hunan chicken meal, my wife had chicken fried rice and the kids each had chicken lo mein. Everything was fresh, food came out fast and mic e quantity for the money. We had plenty of left overs and the owners wee nice. Nothing but a positive experience. Wish the had fountain pop but otherwise everything was really good. One tip...ask for the house made hot mustard versus the packaged you will be much happier. Thank you for a nice dining experience.

Love this place. Hands down my favorite place to get my beef and broccoli w/ lo mein. Highly recommend. Good prices with a big quantity of food. Definitely worth the money

Helllo DELICIOUS GOODNESS! My hubby and I have found our new favorite Chinese Food place! Service was amazing, staff was SUPER friendly and prices were super reasonable. We got a little of everything just to try it out. We had the Mushroom Chicken in Oyster sauce (it was UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS), Sesame Chicken (absolutely perfect in all ways). The fried rice was on point and yummy, the crab Rangoons were fresh and crispy goodness, the hot and sour soup was a perfect symphony of flavors and the House lo mein was loaded w/ flavor. We opted to eat in. Our food came out piping hot and fast. We MOST DEFINITELY WILL RETURN.... possibly each day lol!

Absolutely the most disgusting attempt at "Chinese food" I've ever had. Everything was sickly,…read moresyrupy sweet, including dishes like broccoli beef which should not be sweet. The Rangoons were soggy, repulsively sweet, and contained only cream cheese. I guess this is Chinese food for typically obese Nebraskas who have to have everything full of sugar. We had to throw over $50 of takeaway in the garbage.

I ordered black pepper chicken but asked if I could substitute beef for the chicken. She said no but you can have sizzling tofu and substitute beef. She explained that would be black pepper beef and that it's the same. It arrived and was a completely different dish than the black pepper chicken. She asked me how it was and I said this was not what I expected. She said it's the sizzling tofu only with beef. I said I ordered black pepper chicken only with beef. She said no we don't do that. So I said you can substitute tofu for beef but not chicken for beef? Yes, she said not for black pepper chicken. The logic was mind-boggling. I recommend ordering from the menu and don't ask for substitutions.

I wasn't interested in the chain restaurants, so this place looked like it was worth a try. I decided to go with the Hunan chicken since I'm trying to cut back on four-legged animals, the veggies are a plus. The chicken was properly velveted and has that nice juicy texture. The wok flavor was definitely there. The order came with a fried rice which is just plain fried rice with a bit of soy sauce and wok flavoring. I was impressed with how authentic the food tasted and was truly glad I stopped by. There was too much food so I took the other half to go. I will definitely stop by again if given the chance. The service was great, a bit slower than Panda Express because the food is cooked to order. The ambience was perfect because I was the only one there at 3:30.

It was on par with most places that I've tried. The princess chicken offered a ton of meat, was very sauced and plentiful with veggies, zucchini, carrots, and celery. A solid choice. Overall, a ton of food for about $20. Now for the best--adding that homemade chili oil was , it was so good and offered a lovely complement to my meal. I loved it but it has quite a kick, so proceed with caution. Food was packaged well, and still warm when I received it.

They dont have all drinks on the menu and the menu is not updated. They did tell us what was not available but was a generic dont have these and just slid his fingers on the menu. I finally got an iced lemon tea. We initially ordered egg rolls and a hot pot. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill. We forgot to check about the missing bakchoy. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Hubby wasn't quite happy with our dinner last night.

The dining room was nicely lit and spacious. The waiter came around and took our drink and food order. I had a diet Pepsi, it was completely flat, I had to ask for a can instead. We placed our order for egg rolls to start and hot pot. Spicy broth, beef, fishball, fungus, bokchoy, shrimp, egg noodle and a side of white rice. They quickly set up the gas burner for soup and perched the soup pot on top. Then came out the plate of meat and noodle and we were told they are out of bokchoy. EVERYTHING WAS FROZEN SOLID We waited awhile for the soup to boil (needed to properly cook seafood) but it never did. We tasted the soup. It was a little spicy but odd. Couldn't put my finger on it. Then adding all the frozen items even just some at a time the soup never boiled. We let it sit for a while to at least gain some heat before starting to eat. Waiter came. Asked again about rice and egg rolls. The rice came We managed to cook everything and eat. Had to flag down staff to ask for a check Egg rolls never came. But appeared on the bill as well as the bokchoy that I had to ask to be removed from the bill. I hate writing negative reviews but this was needed.
