It is very economical due to a willingness of the practitioner to give private sessions, or group sessions at a discounted price. At first I was hesitant to trust anymore needles in my life. I honestly have never felt so relaxed in my life after staying here for 4 days. The massage was top notch, and the sauna was amazing, right on the cliff overlooking the water and eagles of Kachemak Bay. Even in the fog and rain, the setting was incredibly peaceful and lovely, and it the weather actually made it seem even more beautiful and relaxing in my opinion. I will never forget sitting in bed and watching thousands of shorebirds fly by over the course of our stay in early May, or the 5 eagles that flew right above my head as I soaked in the hot tub. It was wonderful to enjoy the beauty and wildness of the Homer Spit from the luxury of such relaxed and wonderful little boutique hotel.

The location is super quaint and an amazing view of the bay. Everyone who we encountered while coming and going was super friendly. As a guest of the Inn you have access to the hot tub. I appreciated how staff asked us to request hot tub times so everyone had the hot tub to themselves making it a more enjoyable experience. The hotel staff use texting as the primary way to communicate. This was nice - when we wanted extra towels we just sent a text.

I like to zone out during a massage, and at first I was worried she would be chatty throughout, but once we got started and she ascertained the pressure was good, she was quiet unless I said something. Good technique for the most part. I could have skipped the head massage at the end, but that is just me - I have long hair, and it tangled it up a bit. The room is located downstairs in an office building across from the CSU vet school. It is mostly quiet, except for normal through-the-wall office neighbor noises - nothing that detracts from the overall experience. The low classical music in the background is nice. The location is very convenient to CSU, and the lotion is unscented, so you can go and get a massage, and return to school/work without smelling like essential oils (which I do love, but they are better when I don't have to go back to work).
