I do not recommend this museum's 'programs.' A quick visit maybe if you have nothing else to do, but not any extra programs they offer. It costs $200 deposit per person just to make a reservation but does not grantee you can go, then an extra $30 per person at the door in order to actually attend. They supply lunch, water and a shuttle from the museum to the site - Great! but if they decide to cancel due to weather or literally anything else, you only get the $30 per person back but only if you ask. If you used none of the "overhead" such as gas for transport, snacks, water etc., because it was cancelled before you even got to the site, you are screwed. The lead archaeologist is a pompous narcissist and will talk down to you particularly if you are female. The geologist is quiet and says next to nothing unless spoken to and was the lead reason for said hazardous conditions due to his driving. read more
