Michelle is the one who did my hair and…read moreinstead of doing what works she did it her way and put a high lift color on my hair, it turned out a awful orange color then she put bleach right on my scalp which burned and still did nothing to help my hair problem yes she did tone it still did nothing. She had way to many things going on and won't just concentrate on her one client she is all over the place. Then she did a "smudge" on my hair turned my nice blonde hair this nasty brown color. Then charged me full price even though it was her fault. She even said "this didn't turn out the way I thought" yet charged me full price and wouldn't fix it. Her other two employees agreed it looked awful and said I had a right to be angry. Michelle was to busy with other clients bc she over books herself to finish. Come to find out a lot of her employees quit after a short time because she under pays and overworks them. She's down to two employees because there is such a high turn over rate. Be very careful!!! If you love your hair she will wreck it. She also charges way to much!! Also talked to 3 different stylist about what she did and they were so surprised about the highlift color and bleach on scalp it's a huge NO NO!! Also heard from 4 other people who have used her that they will never go back because she doesn't keep a close eye on her clients hair and she always over books and the last one she "wrecked my hair"

I had been a loyal customer for several years until I got a very bad cut. When I called and made…read morethe appointment I was very clear that I wanted a Deva cut and I was told it was no problem, that the stylist I was scheduled with was Deva certified. I knew I was in for trouble when the stylist started to finger comb my curls. When I reiterated my need for a Deva cut she laughed and said she just liked my hair. There was no curl by curl cut, and half way through she started using a comb. By the end I was horrified at how badly my hair had been cut. I had to go to another salon, get a non-Deva cut, and it still took a year to grow out enough to get my curls back and return to Deva cuts at a different salon. That is eighteen months for shoulder length hair to recover from a bad cut folks. Two babies were conceived and born in the time it took for my hair to get back to where it had been. I did call back and ask who the Deva trained employees were and I was told that all of them are Deva certified. However, when you look at the official Deva site it says that only four of them are and that they are only level one trained.
