My first haircut in Mville GA. To be honest, and because of the previous less than stellar reviews, and that it's 7.5 miles away, this Great Clips wasn't my first choice for getting my haircut. However, since the other 2 places were closed (1 due to an unforseen emergency; the other is closed on Mondays), I decided to give them a try. I walked in. And, even though I was #4 on the list of those who checked in online, I was waited on immediately since the other 3 were not there yet. Since the stylist had never cut my hair before, I asked for a dry scissor trim of about 1/4 inch. And, because my trimmers are still packed, I had her do my beard too. I was a bit surprised to see her use a comb, and scissors. For the past 18 years, and no matter which Great Clips I went to in the Phoenix area, the stylists always used their fingers. Despite giving me a cut instead of a trim, and, and taking my beard a bit shorter than I would have preferred, she did a great job on my hair. Because many first time stylists manage to screw up doing my hair, that's why I asked for a trim. But, since Tammy did a fantastic job, I'm giving her 5 Stars. Now because it is further away, I'm going to try the other 2 places first before coming back here. But, would I go back? Absolutely! Sorry. No pictures this time. Fairly short wait time for a Saturday afternoon walk in. But I QUICKLY found out why. I took three of my kids to get their hair cut last weekend. We are new to this town and haven't found a spot yet. My daughter only wanted a few inches trimmed and I had to walk her back to the chair because of how uneven it was. It was so visibly uneven, I could tell as she walked back to me. I still had to fix some pieces at home. My oldest son wanted an undercut. I asked the stylist if she could do that and she *said* she could. She then asked my son, while he was in the chair and I was not standing there, if he just wanted the sides buzzed. He did not receive an undercut. I will have to take him to a barber to fix it. (Truthfully, I should have made an appointment with one in the first place, but he wanted it done ASAP.) The stylist should have just said she couldn't do it. The top is so long and she ONLY buzzed the sides. Maybe she has never seen one? (How could that be?) There really isn't an excuse to lie though. She couldn't even tell me about what products to use to style it. My youngest son just needed a little boy trim. It was choppy and mediocre. Not bad. But not perfect. On top of all that, a different stylist was talking so badly about a regular client of hers, I was appalled. Just bashing some man (who likely has to suffer through her lousy work just to get his hair trimmed.) Horrifying, honestly. I was so glad we didn't get stuck with her. I cannot imagine going back to this place. I could do a better job after watching a few YouTube videos. These people clearly take no pride in their work. read more

If it were possible to give no stars, or negative for that matter, trust that I would. It's to no surprise that the reviews are as bad as they are. My father came here and waited 2 hours for a haircut, all the while being passed over by multiple people who came in AFTER him. There was no communication at all about when his turn would be and, of course, he eventually left. His only mistake was for being overly patient and not wanting to cause a fluster despite having a logical and obvious reason to do so. The only saving grace during this event was a kind lady who was a customer who ran out after my father asking him if he would like for her to say something to the staff because she noticed that he had waited a very long time. It's obvious that customer service, or basic common courtesy, is utterly disregarded at this establishment. read more

This Great Clips is in a new location; moved from the Walmart shopping center to the Kroger shopping center. Their new location is pretty nice and clean. If you are looking for a fancy haircut or new style or whatever I would not recommend Great Clips, but if you want a standard trim then give them a shot. I was drawn in by the $6.99 haircut coupon they sent in the mail. When I left my cut was nowhere near what I wanted, but it did feel great to shed my hair. read more

I called ahead of time telling them that I would be there close to closing time. It's 8 minutes before they closed and I watched the lady at the front counter walk away and hide in the back of the store. So whoever is in charge of the schedules for the date of June 7th 2018 and whoever is supposed to have the closing shift should maybe understand the difference between closed and open. The last few time I have been to this location I have checked in online. The wait times are always terrible. Tonight I received a 76 min wait time so went and ate and walked to the store at my time. When I got there I waited 15 more minutes, then was jumped by an entire family. When I asked about it I was told it was not my turn yet. Also the screen that shows the order was turned off. The milledgeville store is always a pain but tonight was something special. read more

Nice staff but the wait was on the long end but man I've never had such a painful haircut in all my life. Clippers and combing was used to the point it hurt. I really needed more hair taken off but I was in such a rush to get out of there I couldn't wait to get out of the chair. I will not be back. read more

The service has really gone downhill. I did the online reservation and it said 25 minutes. So I arrived in 25-30 minutes, I still had to wait another 30 minutes after arrival, then they even took the lady listed after me. When I questioned why I was not next , the stylist said the receptionist forgot to resister that I was there. Not my fault! So no apology, and they did not make the other lady wait her turn.. Instead I was to wait another 15-20 minutes. I left. There were 2 other people who arrived during the time I was sitting waiting my turn, and they left too. Bad service - over an hour wait and still stuck with a head full of hair. read more
