Came in to the store to buy some cookies. Many of the cookies were gone or only had 1 or 2 left in a particular flavor. I was hosting a gathering and wanted to buy a couple dozen. I knew I couldn't do this because there wasn't enough left. I asked the gentleman if they were going to be baking more cookies. He looked at me in confusion and asked his co worker if they were. I told him I especially wanted Snickerdoodle and if he just wanted to make those, I'd buy just one flavor. He kept looking at his phone and staring at me like a deer in headlights. He said if he made cookies he'd have to make all flavors. I said okay, does this mean you're going to make more? He didn't even answer! He just kept waiting for me to say something else I suppose.
There are other cookie options in town but I truly love the cookies here! This is not the first time I've gone early enough to where there should be a selection. I know making cookies is probably a lot of work, but you're working in a cookie place. Needless to say I got 6 cookies to curb my Great American cookie craving but had to go elsewhere to purchase cookies where they weren't out of stock.
I just had to leave a review as this is a small town and there aren't many options. If you're going to stop making cookies at a certain time that should be posted on the door. If it was 30 minutes to closing ... I understand but it was 6:30! You don't go to Crumbl or Dirty Dough with empty shelves. They are constantly making cookies. I hope the service here gets better and the staff is trained on how to directly answer questions and not be on their phones while a customer is speaking to them.
As far as the cookies themselves ... delicious. Too bad they just don't keep the shelves stocked. Due to the horrible customer service I don't know that going back is worth it. read more
